I was really looking forward to playing this ever since it was released. Gotta say, I'm quite disappointed. The detail is pretty poor for a game this age, the maps are quite bland feeling and lacking in any immersive feel. Vehicle handling is absolutely terrible and oh so very janky. Weapons are spongy and weak. Who's idea was adding bandages?!? The little saviour events were cool and all but how annoying when your dragging someone behind cover and getting caught on tiny little things you can see unless you let go of the person to look... or you die because you got caught and cant move to cover. Every 3 seconds I'm bandaging up because I got hit twice by aimbot AI. I actually found the campaign annoying and boring to play. Actually looking forward to finishing it so I can uninstall. I'm only persisting with it because I want to complete ALL COD campaigns. I can't recommend this to anyone for "fun" reasons. If you want a great WW2 COD game, even by todays standards, WaW holds its own far better than this garbage. I honestly can't believe this is what they released. Certainly not looking forward to the next Sledgehammer title anymore.

Accessibility warning: button mashing ruins the experience I would recommend this game to 'able' players. The visuals are absolutely stunning and really feel like you're in France in that situation and era. However... I gave up on Call of Duty: WWII after just four and a half hours—not because of the story, visuals, or gameplay polish, but because of a persistent accessibility issue that made it unplayable for me. The game relies heavily on button mashing and fast Quick Time Events (QTEs), with no option to disable or adjust them. As someone with double vision and nerve damage, I struggle to read and react to on-screen prompts quickly. These mechanics aren’t just frustrating—they’re progress blockers. After investing limited time and energy into a level, hitting a mash-heavy sequence feels punishing and completely demoralising. Accessibility isn’t just about subtitles or colourblind filters. It’s about respecting the effort of all players, especially those with physical or cognitive challenges. I urge developers to include options to hold instead of mash, auto-complete QTEs, or skip them entirely. This game could have been a great experience—but for me, it was a closed door. I’m sharing this to raise awareness—not to debate. If you’ve had similar experiences, I’d love to hear them. If not, please respect that this is my perspective.

Do you like to watch 15 minutes of cutaways between small segments of actually playing an ****ing game? Well then, this game is for you. Just sittin' on my couch watching some bs for what seems like hours. LET ME PLAY THE GAME, PLEASE! Not sure what segment of the game-playing demographic they think they are appealing to... If you want to be frustrated, mashing all the buttons trying to skip the bs cut-scenes, then choose this game.

The Campaign's replay value is completely destroyed by unskippable cutscenes. This studio believed they were making a 2 bit movie, not a video game. It takes around 10 minutes to start replaying the first level due to cutscenes. In fact, it takes a long time to get to any gameplay started for any mission. Its so disrespectful to the player's time, that it almost seems like they hold contempt for anyone who enjoys shooters enough to replay them. Its a shame, because the gameplay here is actually pretty good, you just have to hate yourself enough to sit through all the cutscenes to get to it. This review would be positive if the cutscenes were skippable. This game's campaign is fun to play only 1 time, and with only 11 missions, its just not worth it.

Absolutely phenomenal campaign! Honestly one of the best cod campaigns post classic cod (after black ops 2). Graphics are still amazing, the non-regenerating health makes the the combat feel more intense and desperate. the ally ai actually serve a purpose of supplying ammo, grenades, health packs and motor strikes. the actual fps gameplay and movement all feels really good, I especially liked that magazine sizes are low forcing you to make every shot count. Snipers are especially very satisfying with a generous slow down to hold breath and poping headshots never gets old. Operating a tank was a lot of fun and while the flying a fighter jet was cool in concept, it doesn't control well in execution. As enemy planes can turn faster than you making the combat frustrating. While its story isn't perfect and a few characters i think didn't get enough development, its a very enjoyable story, that is realistic banter for the time and it felt like a good WW2 movie with characters and motivations you care about. And hardened difficulty was the just right amount of challenge, it punishes you if you are not playing smart. While its only 6- 7 hours. Sadly this isn't like black ops 3 where the levels are pretty big and there are multiple ways to get to point B. On the 67% off sale the campaign is worth it

My favorite Call of Duty campaign by far. It was the first campaign I had ever played through and has stuck with me since with how cinematic and gripping it is. Feels like a movie through and through which could be seen as a downside for some, but it definitely struck me in a way that kept me pushing through each level enough to 100% the game. Would highly recommend.

Bought this game for local play with bots. 80-90% of guns are locked behind multiplayer progress. Save your money and buy something else. Total waste for offline play.
