In birth? More like Un birth! So I was super excited to play blaze blue cross tag battle. Love blaze blue , played persona arena max and watched RWBY. When I saw the under Night Inbirth I was super hype to play it’s game. So what is an inbirth? From my understanding everyone who some how makes it in the 25th hour of the night that happens once in a blue moon. They must hunt down voids so the void don’t kill people . They also go there to collect EXS to become immortal but if they collect to much the become the voids. It’s a double edge sword. The world has a very cool premise I can agree with that. How ever the game kinda presents its self in a very dull manner. I am used to game like Blaz Blue , Guilty Gear and Skull Girls, so the visuals novel is not bad. When fighting in the stages , levels feel empty and lifeless. It does not help that the music is not very bopping. Does not make me want to fight. The characters are cool and well developed. I just wish I cared about the world they live in. The main villains motivation does not feel that meaning ful when the game does not seem to care about its own plot that much. I also found out the hard way that UNIB [ST] cost more on steam than [Cl-R] , but [CL-R] has more characters and stages so I kinda felt like I got cheated. If you looking just for another anime fighter than I would say get [Cl -R] version of this game or just play Blazeblue Tag Battle. That games puts these characters in a more fun fighter. I am fine with 1st birth no need to go in birth. 5/10
