Carol Danvers is not the "Classic" Captian Marvel. There's at least 4 other people that were called that in Marvel's history befire Danvers, and that's not even including Billy Batson.

This DLC gives you 8 new characters and one level. It's worth having if you like all the different Marvel comics characters and their stories.

The level this DLC gives you is so random and just boring and has way to many cut scenes telling you redundant information. buy as a bundle or on sale if you need it for achievements.

The Capt. Marvel pack for Avengers features an okay level and a nice list of characters to the roster. Fending off two of the hero's villains, Poundcake (Who even thought that'd be a cool villain name?) and Magneton, Marvel (in her new costume with a masked alt) teams up with Captain America to put an end to the latter's schemes to destroy the city she lives in as Carol Danvers by slamming another city on top of it.
Pack is included on Season Pass, suggest getting it there.
As a note which i'll put in all level pack reviews:
If you intend to get all minikits in freeplay, complete the level the normal way instead of saving and exiting. You won't get the achievement for getting all minikits doing it the latter way.

Oops. I should have done this review at the same time as Masters of Evil. Eh whatever.
In this level pack we see a different version of the classic Captain Marvel. Yes it uses the most recent versions of the charcters in the level but it is still the classic orgin. I think. Whatever it is a fun level nonetheless.
The characters. Well we see two versions of the new Captain Marvel, one with her mask and one without. We get the first and possibly only appearances in a video game of Poundcakes and Tic. If you don't know who they are, do some research. Also we see some wonderful and varied characters in this pack.
We get 2 different vehicles in this pack but they both fly so that is all you need to know about that.
The level is ina couple of parts. We fight Poundcakes and then Magneton so all goods there. the level is not very short either but it isn't that long either. And our co-op character is Captain America. so yeah the level is pretty good and the voice of Cpatain Marvel is not annoying to listen to. There we are tehn. The level is good.
Final thoughs are get this with the Season Pass butit is ok if you choose to get it on its own so yeah. It is fine stand alone. I give it the Dragon Tick. I'm trying to make the Dragon Tick my personal review thing that i came up with. What? Too much? I'm still going to stick with it.
