I just finished the campaign, and it made me realize, I was living to play this game. It is genuinely awesome, with an interesting (but somewhat weird) gameplay, an amazing (but kind of complicated) story. Nothing else I have been enjoying as much as this, and almost gave up on it because of frequent crashes, which I was able to fix in the way it happened less. Valentine is genuinely interesting despite the lack of her feelings and screentime (since she only appeared in this game) and for every character debuted in this game (note that Raven debuted in X Lightning the Argent novel, which I have not finished yet but likely has more content of him than Overture) even if Paradigm sucks at times (story wise he is decent, his moments with Ky are interesting). If you are interested in the lore much and/or wanna try out a new kind of game even if it can be hard to understand or weird sometimes, I definitely recommend this game. Now that I finished it, I love it even more than Xrd Rev 2, and might be my all time favorite video game ever.

Actually pretty fun, has difficulty to it- a storyline that.... I don't quite comprehend due to starting on Guilty Gear Blazblue and then... getting this hah.... I like it though- it's definitely not the 2d fighter the other entries have been. Definitely is story-driven, if you like somewhat of a MOBA style game, this is it. 7/10 So far!

Sadly an overlooked game in the series due to its status as an RTS game.
I was not overwhelmingly familiar with the genre when I played, but I found myself having an immense amount of fun, despite traditionally being a fighting game player.
If you are a guilty gear player, this game is fundamental to the series' story and the RTS gameplay is not as janky or strange as it may seem.
If you are an RTS player, give the game a shot! It's on sale often and from what I know, I think it offers a unique take on the genre and the story is still interesting even if you don't know the story of the rest of the series.
