A blight on this series. Avoid. Tries to be Armored Core lite but isn't even good at that. With real Armored Core and real Front Mission coming to PC since Evolved's release, you have no excuse. Now only the second worst Front Mission game since Left Alive released.

Really bad. It will not stop crashing for no reason after 5 minute in the first mission at the exact same spot every time. I have a brand new computer so the hardware is not the issue. Very sad to see such a great company creating something like this.

Nostalgic game. Played this a lot back when I was a kid. Would like to be able to play multiplayer. At least let me get EXP while playing Last Stand - Solo as there's not that much player online for multiplayer.

I can't speak for dissapointed Front Mission fans, Mechwarrior was always my bag, but I was looking for an accessible mech game my 6yo could play, and I found it here.
He's playing on easy but it's giving him enough of a challenge to engage with the controls and learn to get better, rather than handing me the controller the first moment of panic.
There are some depictions of violence that's borderline what I'd like him to see, and he heard all the curse words back in preschool, so no real issue there.
He's having so much fun I think I'll give it a play for some low stakes mech action.

A very nostalgic game for me, something I enjoyed playing as a teenager.
It's full of the tropes of the era, third person shooter stuff, all of very middling quality.
The difficulty seems off to me, easy is far too easy and normal is slightly painful to play (but maybe I had a substandard build throughout the whole game.)
The story is action schlock, in a way I kind of love, but still, can't go into that without spoilers, it's just really funny with delivery and certain plot points, fake outs that then actually just happen later .
Overall incredibly, incredibly mid, but nostalgic. Not to the standard of Front Mission, or mech games.
Play it if it's cheap and you vaguely remember playing it 15 years ago.
