[h1][b]Just a quick update: I had massive issues playing the coop mode in recent months, seemingly due to an update in the past that broke some things, like:

Activating the steam beta branch 811.3 fixed the issue, so give it a try if you have similar issues.[/b][/h1]
Endurance mode is probably the DLC I would recommend most for Rise of the Tomb Raider.
In this mode Lara has to survive in the cold Syberian wilderness, while simultaneously raiding crypts and tombs and collecting artifacts. Whenever you feel like you have collected enough loot, you can find an extraction point and get out by helicopter.
As new game mechanics heat and food have been introduced: Lara has to warm up near fires in regular intervals and consume food in order not to starve.
In case you die you have to restart from the very beginning and all progress is lost.
Each time the map will be different, as it is randomly made up of a few premade building blocks that are shuffled around each time. This works quite well and feels very natural.
Similar to the challenge mode from the base game, the experience can be modified using cards that affect gameplay, enemies and Lara's outfit and skillset.
[h1][b]Verdict[/b][/h1]
Probably my favourite DLC for the game overall and I enjoyed it a lot more than I originally thought I would. Endurance offers a unique new difficulty and actually brings something fresh and interesting to the known formula, even though the survival is quite rudimentary overall.
Also it can be played in coop with a friend, and that's always a plus.

If you like challenging, hard survival games then get this DLC!
This DLC add a survival game-mode to the game. I would also say it [b]definitely[/b] worth the full price.
The description pretty much says it all.

I'm REALLY liking this DLC, as it's incredibly hard and a great challenge. I've only managed to get up-to day 10 (just) and its take a lot of time to reach this (over an hour if on first try). To experience it fully, play it in Survival difficulty.
Its funny as this DLC more complete/stable than DayZ (minus the zombies, that's another DLC)... and this is for a great game that actually works. The best and most enjoyable DLC this game has, by far.
Its also good for competing with your friends, to try and beat the most days, points, kills, etc. It also comes with loads of mission to complete when you are trying to survive.
