This is a really fun little game! It does pretty darn well in combining two different genres into a single, cohesive experience. The story is rather shallow, to be expected of a more arcade-y title, but I feel that works and is completely fine for a game that is so short and easy to 100%. They give you plenty of tools and progression options to make levels easier as you unlock them. My only complaint is that there are times where the levels just generate in a way where you are doomed to fail and die, it seems. It would have been nice of maybe you had some form of ‘one time use per stage’ shuffle mechanic to change the border around and alienate that just a bit.

Auto fire only during boss fights is just heinous. The levels are randomly generated, and I've had several cases where its impossible to clear the path and advance (not just in instances where you need a certain gimmick to clear objects). Could have been a solid little shmup with a twist except for these issues. Also very short.
