The story is alright, but pales in comparison to SOMA or Still Wakes the Deep. The gameplay is okay for the most part but the combat gets irritating after a while. Overall it's an okay game, and It's a shame the devs parted ways after this project came out. I'm sure they could've made a much better game after this. Get it on sale

I feel like Jeremy from Phineas and Ferb on the couch with a milk of jug and fried chicken leg trying to stay engaged to the boring plot and setting. And I have a soft spot for nautical horror.

Solid narrative game, a few issues with collision but overall if you want to play something about slowly dying in a claustrophobic dive-suit at the bottom of the sea, this is a good pick.

Narcosis Game Review
(Disclaimer - This is just my opinion and it may be unpopular or some may not agree)
(Positive)
1. The story was kind of "been there, done that", but they did tie it well to the end giving it a psychological feel so that was nice.
2. Some of the under water scenery and visuals were really pretty.
3. The giant crabs were done well and were eerie.
4. The old diving suit was a nice touch.
5. It had some "Layers of Fear" elements to it and I did enjoy that game so that felt nice.
(Negative)
1. The story didn't really appeal to me.
2. The game felt very long and tedious.
3. The suit controls can be considered a challenge as it was tanky for a more modern game that was basically a walking simulator with some combat.
4. Some of the timing with the knife combat felt a little off.
5. The game all-in-all really just didn't appeal to me enough with story, gameplay or visuals. It felt like time wasted where I could've played something else.
6. Not to be straight up savage, but the best part was "The End" as I could play something else.
