Rebirth 2 is pretty much the same game as Rebirth 1---all with the same game systems and combat. I still pretty much enjoyed it overall even if a part of me somewhat hoped that they switched things up a little bit. Even so, the game is solid and the occasional fan service is still quite entertaining.

While the CPU candidates are a much-needed introduction to the cast, this game sacrifices the usual Neptunia humour to develop them. I'd say the gameplay is more fun than the story, but this game becomes solid all-around once Neptune joins the cast.
I also like that while this game isn't as hard as the first, you can still make it difficult by using the Fortify Enemies plan, & the difference in difficulty levels after fortifying or weakening is much more noticeable in this one.
The one BIG complaint I have about this game is that it is WAY too short. Even with bonus content & drawing out battles (I'm easily distracted), I still beat this in 17 hours.
I read that this game has NINE different endings that require high lily ranks & Share manipulation.
This stuff essentially doubles the amount of playtime, but it requires too much grinding that I don't have the attention span for. I will still play this game to full completion eventually because I love this series, but I'm not looking forward to how tedious it will be.
In any case, this is another one that I'd recommend waiting for a sale on, just because of how short it is.
Short & sweet, the Sisters are all adorable.
