Batman: Arkham Asylum is a fantastic game. It does a lot of things excellently. There is fascinating combat, elaborate stealth, and fun exploration. Also, the player does not have to be very knowledgeable about Batman in order to enjoy this game, because the story is not complicated, the game uses well-known characters, and there are also short and interesting explanations about lesser-known characters in text form to collect. I think this is a game that can not be missed in the game collection of people who enjoy adventure games.

doesnt ufking work i spent hours scrolling internet threads installing Directx and SDK things and turning off my firewall while i download and launch the game i have read alot of fixes for this 10yr? old game. None did anything ive restarted tried launching compatibility modes which just begs the question after 4-6 hrs of work what the fuck am i doing...? Im not a computer guy I just enough to break things severely and no idea as to what i broke. I like many of you am forced to buy games multiple times over the years so i see this bundle for 10$ BAA BAC BAK. i already paid for 2 base games for console at full retail price but hey its a good deal, I get the DLC's i get to play on my PC which is better? Oh but it is not better because now i have 30% of my purchase just locked, gated, stolen? i dunno inaccessible to say the least. can i refund the few dollars for 1/3 of my bundled purchase not working, no. can i get a game i paid for twice to work after years of being out nope. Thousands of threads, videos, and articles online maybe I should have done more diligence but hey its not like i can get another Batman game from the other company? Im not happy, Im genuinely pissed off your selling a bundle with 1/3 of it not working properly, im pissed i cant do anything other than all or nothing. Only the Sith deal in absolutes. i hope your downfall isnt worthy of a trilogy

Despite the game is 15 years old, it still feels pretty new. For sure, it has a bit outdated graphics and some mechanics are being clunky, but the game overall feels smooth, with a nice combat system. Stealth feels a little bit boring with lack of core mechanics like eliminating foes below the ground or better hiding. The plot is average: there is nothing bad to say about it yet there's nothing to be impressed of either. Overall, it's a nice game to spend a friday night in there, but nothing more. But if you're a real fan of DC Univerce, the game's age don't need to bother you - you will definitely like it.

I can see why people like this game and i respect that. I came into this game with too high expectations and thats my fault. The combat is fun but overall ive just been bored. Im gonna move onto city next tho. I hope i enjoy that one more because i am pretty dissapointed. The writing was just... cringy honestly. nothing really scared me or made me genuially invested sadly
