Got all the DLC from a bundle, they add a lot more content.

Short and fun enough, but certainly not worth full price unless you REALLY liked the game.

Four fun challenges, but I rather play them with a friend.

These aren't neccessarily that challenging unless you are going for the Time Trials on some of them. But it's still a nice add-on and you can get more of the game! It is fairly expensive though for what it offers so if it's not something you absolutely have to have, try getting it when it's on sale ;).

This is unnecessarily difficult for the sake of being difficult. At some point it becomes a nuisance that drains the fun away.

Pack 1 contains 4 challenges that are separate from the main game with no story, collectibles or different objectives aside from 1 objective for each challenge. The first challenge is just a few puzzle rooms that had us think for a while. The objective was to complete them within 2.5 minutes. This can easily be done after knowing what to do. Challenge 2 is dealing with rooms filled with traps. You have to run, destroy levers quickly and reach the exit. The objective is doing it within 1.5 minutes which took us a couple of tries. Challenge 3 is pure survival, you’re in one big area with tons of enemies coming from all directions. The objective was to get 500k score with defeated enemies. This challenge was actually easier and a good break after challenge 2 especially. Challenge 4 is running a straight line trying to avoid stones from falling, tiles fall and boulders can crush you. This is similar to some sections in the main game, only you need to collect enough gems (60k) if you want to get the objective.
Each challenge is short the first time between 10-20+ minutes if you just want to experience them. But it’s the objectives that keep you busy and have you play this DLC longer. Overall this challenge pack was fun with a friend. It’s worth experiencing when on sale for around €1 but you’re not missing much if you don’t play it.

This "Challenge Pack" provides Four Challenge Tombs:
Double Crossings
Puzzle map where you have to use bombs and well timed spear throws to ride moving platforms along a horizontal rail to the exits.
Really enjoyed this one!
Tooth and Nail
Puzzle/ Hazard map where you have to run along delayed activation spike floor panels whilst using bombs or explosive guns (eg, RPG) to destroy a mechanism which then unlocks the exits.
Tricky but fun map which is made MUCH easier if using explosive guns. (I recommend the default grenade launcher as it uses the least ammo out of all the explosive guns.)
Temple Defense
"Wave Based" Combat map where you have to run around an arena killing enemies until you die once or complete all 3 score challenges. You will NEED to have the best gear and relics for this otherwise you will not last long. I enjoyed the arena layout, but the waves of enemies got repetitive after just a few minutes. Much better in coop.
Crushing Expectations
Hazard navigation map where you have to run straight, avoiding falling tiles, spike crushers and absolute rage inducing timing.
I hated this map as the difficulty spike compared to the other maps is ridiculous. The top score objective is 60k points, yet after at least 20 tries, 52k is the closest that I could get. Dying takes away a chunk of your points and you will die a LOT in this map. Terrible final map and easily the worst part of this DLC.
Overall Rating: 7/10 - Length of content = 8 to 14 minutes
(First 2 Maps were the highlights for me.)

It's a fun little addition once you complete the game. It's not really hard and it's probably not worth paying the full price for it (I suggest buying it when it's on sale) but it can keep you busy for... 30 minutes or so.

There are four levels in this DLC. First two time based and the other two score based. All levels are small.
[olist]
[*]a puzzle level - I liked this one.
[*]running across spiked floor - not bad too. I had to repeat this one about 15x to get to the end.
[*]battle in large room with tons of spawning enemies - you try to stay alive and kill enemies as long as possible. Maybe I should have selected a relic with self healing here. I ran out of ammo fast and ordinary pistols or spears were way to weak. I did not get near even to the first score goal :)
[*]sprinting across falling bridge while attempting to collect gems - I really hated this one because I could not get to end at all even when I ignored those gems. I was on zero score from repeated deaths. What was worse it was not possible to exit the level and game by normal means! I had to use Windows Task Manager and switch to game to kill it.
[/olist]
Like others, I would recommend this DLC only when discounted and if the main game was too easy for you. I expected a bit more from the DLC but it consists solely of challenge.

This DLC pack is quite short but very challenging. So you will not get a significant amount of more game play out of this but a great sense of satisfaction when you complete it.
