Just Cause 2: Black Market Aerial Pack DLC DLC

Non-essential weapon/vehicle DLC. [b]Black Market Aerial Pack[/b] gets you the following;[list][*]F-33 DragonFly Jet Fighter: The least useful of the pack, still fun to use to mess around with.[*]Dual Parachute Thrusters: By far the most useful item in the pack, you'll have to buy it from the Black Market every time you start the game or die, but it's benefits far outweight the negatives, allowing for faster travel and the abiltiy to escape dangerous situations with ease.[*]Multi-lock Missile Launcher: Extremely fun to use, and great for area completion and causing chaos. Major drawback being ammunition is costly to keep stocked as no enemies drop ammo for this.[/list]Definitely the best DLC for Just Cause 2, worth picking up on sale or in the Just Cause Collection.

Ahh the parachute thrusters... Forget about the other two items, the gun and the plane, in this DLC. You NEED the parachute thrusters. Its one of the few items that I ALWAYS have on me. Its just so cool and incredibly damn useful too. +Even though the main game itself requires your character to be very fast and move from one place to another incredibly quickly the controls and the tools you have don't always allow that. Thats why we have the parachute thrusters! Now you can be faster! -You have to buy it again every time you die. Sure, fair enough but I hope thats the only thing you're gonna be buying again cuz the in-game menu, the black market where you buy all your stuff from only allows 1 thing to be purchased at a time. -The other two items in this DLC are essentially useless. I love the thruster way too much.

I didn't realize how much I needed the thrusters until I had them. Now I feel naked without them. The DragonFly is slower than the Silverbolt and therefore useless. You can also do without the multi lock rocket launcher, it's not particularly useful unless you're an arthritic pensioner with carpal tunnel syndrome. Buy on sale.

The Aerial Pack is... Okay. Adds a jet, slower than the Silverbolt and just as unwieldy as other planes and jets... A set of Parachute Thrusters that help gaining altitude and having speed with parachutes and... The Multi-Lock Rocket Launcher. Would've put the AIR Propulsion Gun in the pack all about the AIR, but i don't work for Avalanche. Useful to shoot one missile per target that it's been locked onto. Like the other DLC items, jets get expensive along with rocket ammunition. Once your save runs dry, no more fun DLC items from the Black Market for you. Should've been free Avalanche. A note i'll add at the end of DLC reviews: All DLC items you own will carry over to servers on the Multiplayer Mod that choose to run DLC items. However the rules on using items vary from server to server.

I'm gonna review each part of this individually. [b]Parachute Thrusters[/b] These are incredibly useful! If you want to get around fast but DON'T want to draw attention to yourself, these are the way to go. [b]F-33[/b] The first time I spawned it, I had no idea how to fly. After I learned, I spawned it at Panau International Airport and flew around with it, shooting things whenever I saw them. It is a pretty fun plane, and one of the most powerful in game. [b]Missile Launcher[/b] The Multi-Lock Missile Launcher is [i]by far[/i] my favorite weapon in-game. I have used it on countless rampages around Panau when I just felt like blowing up civilians, as well as stronghold takeovers and area completions. [b]Overall Rating[/b] 10/10, you should totally buy this!

I wouldn't say this pack is worth $2... but then, there's a reason to get it, and that singular reason is why I wrote this review. The parachute boosters. You haven't experienced the thrill of a true aerial assault without a pair of jet thrusters strapped to your parachute backpack.

Its good dlc otherwice.. but every single DAMN time, i buy rocket clusters, and reaload game, even tho i saved and shit, those rockets from my parachute just vanish. Its 50k price every single time i play the game because those rockets keep disappearing all the time. Die: theyre gone. Quit and reopen game: theyre gone. Dont buy this for the rockets. you wont get to play with them so often. +Adds rocket thrusters to parachute - You have to rebuy them once you die or restart game +Adds airplane called dragonfly +Adds one kind of bazooka = You can have bazooka and dragonfly. But not clusters. Sorry

Rocket launcher is ok, but dual parachute trusters are amazing. The best dlc I think. Very useful. DragonFly is very fast plane. Buy only on sale. I recommend.

This is the only DLC that's really worth purchasing for the game, namely because of the parachute thrusters which add an extremely useful boost to your parachute travel and escape potential. The thrusters allow you to quickly move from one location to the next without having to steal a vehicle and risk drawing attention to yourself. The thrusters are also great for giving you a sudden escape from combat situations which is supremely useful when your health is rapidly draining. The jet in this pack is nice, but so what? You never spend much time attacking other vehicles, only troops and stationary targets. The rocket launcher is fun, but it's a toy that's expensive to keep fully stocked of ammunition. Just stick with the regular upgraded guns you get from troop drops.
