This game is so charming, you can tell a lot of love went into it!!! There are definitely things that could be improved (controls feel a little clunky, text boxes are often just empty and I have to guess as what I'm selecting, and PLEASE let me sprint), but if you go into this expecting a good story with great writing, the rest fades into the background.

The thing about To the Moon series is that it talks about one of the most unconvenient, at the same time intimate topics for us - death. And far not all games (or generally works) discuss it that way. The second part of the series does it not worse than the first one. Everything ends: whether it's a friendship or a game. And all, what is left, are memories.

This is a sequel to "To the Moon" and it is a wonderful story. Albeit, it isn't as good as the first one, it is still a beautiful game! I enjoyed the humor and the emotional roller coaster.

Definitely don't play before To The Moon, but if you liked that game you'll probably like this one. Touching story, great music, and fun characters

As someone who's favorite story game of all time is To The Moon, this game just missed the mark in my opinion. It still had the charm of the first game and the synergy between the two doctors, but the story itself was a bit lacking. The pacing was quite slow and almost tedious, as you could tell that there was an overarching message coming but we weren't being fed puzzle pieces that would lead to revelations later in the game. To The Moon excelled on that front -- every single thing was connected and there for a reason. The lighthouse, the platypus, the paper rabbits, etc. all had a purpose for being there. This game barely had any setups or payoffs besides a couple lines that Faye says. I think there was a severe lack of intrigue in this story since we didn't really know our "goal" and we didn't really have any mystery that we were trying to uncover (like the rabbits in TTM). It felt like we were just watching someone's life and not "solving" someone's life if that makes sense. Obviously, the art and music were incredible as one would expect from Freebird, but the writing didn't hit for me. It had funny one-liners as well as a good overarching message
to enjoy life the way it is and come to peace with your regrets
, but it didn't really have emotional impact for me sadly. I wanted to enjoy this game but I think To The Moon might just be SO good that nothing will ever come close. The game is absolutely not bad, but I'm just going to stick to recommending TTM to people. I think it's worth a shot if you like To The Moon, but keep neutral expectations going into the sequel.

For a more comfortable experience, I used an alternative version, which made the gameplay smoother. Overall, the game is solid, but the first part—To the Moon—set such a high bar that even the addition of new mechanics and more humorous moments couldn’t completely shake off the feeling of some incompleteness. The story this time is even more engaging. While To the Moon focused on evoking deep emotions and touching the player’s heart, Finding Paradise presents a more dynamic narrative with plenty of intriguing moments. By the end, the game turns into a true spectacle of events that may seem chaotic at first but ultimately intertwine perfectly into a cohesive storyline. The soundtrack deserves special mention—it is, as always, top-notch and perfectly complements the game’s atmosphere. Overall, Finding Paradise is a fantastic sequel that expands the series’ possibilities, offering deeper gameplay and storytelling. However, it doesn’t always manage to surpass the emotional impact of the first game.

Such a great game, engaging story and well written characters. By the end i definitely got a little emotional, the story really makes you think about life. In the beginning it seemed like a cliche childhood crush trope, but thats not case. To anyone who loves rpgs, give it a try <3 you will not regret it!!

The game was pretty niche... A very specific topic... Not everyone might understand the concept. But I think this game was meant for me. Thank you for making it real. I bet this kind of story won't even exist from a big game developer knowing how niche it is.
