If you have played this game for any length of time, these warband dlcs aren't even noticable. I have the season pass and didn't notice when this dlc installed. I later saw the dlc available and went in game to try it out, only to realize I'd already beat the warband. They are not difficult or challenging or memorable, especially if you have already beat the main quest, and I'd wager with even half my abilities and runes I still wouldn't have had much difficulty dispatching the warband. Not worth paying for.

Played this game for over 55 hours. Wonderful base game, became one of my top 3 games. As for the DLC, it's terrible. The bosses they put out in these DLC are no challenge what so ever. You just have to range kill the body guards then easily attack the boss, killing him around 30 seconds to 1 minute. It will be a decent challenge if you are new to the game and got the season pass though. I keep hoping for atleast one big DLC that will contain a new area or stronghold, maybe some extra main missions. Great game, bad DLCs thus far.

DLCs are sometimes things that you don't even know what you are buying. this dlc, you know what you get, 1 guy who you can defeat for 1 rune which as i remember was not even anything special. 5/10 . not cool dlc == if you read this until here i made a game for iOS called "FatHatBoy" please check it out <3

The add-on adds a new enemy class to the game and a rune for defeating them. The innovation itself makes the game a little more diverse, but in itself quite boring, however, if you buy a season pass, the option is good.

These are by far the hardest enemy in the game. Your basically paying money to lose. The runes are better. You go from 20 percent chance to about 40 percent chance which is still not worth the effort.

DLC verdict: Don't get it Comment: So as usual you kill five minions and then go for the captain, in this case an archer type. He got one hit of explosion arrow on me before I got to him but then it was just hacking away without a challenge. The reward was The Black Arrow bow rune (+5 HP on headshot kills). It is part of the Season Pass/Premium Edition/GOTY Edition so you will get it that way. Buying the DLC by itself is not worth the minute or two of gameplay and a semi-decent rune... ------------------------------------------------------------------ If you liked this DLC review you can find more in my Review Corner.

*Warning* Honestly do not know why they still offer the DLCs separately except to trick people who don't know to buy the GOTY upgrade that includes all of the game's DLC. None of the DLC including this one is worth buying separately when the GOTY upgrade is $9.99. None of the DLC are "great" but if you want a little more don't buy them individually. Just adds a single encounter, don't buy by itself.

Do not buy the DLCs individually. You'll spend way too much money. This DLC doesn't really add much, just another group of orcs that may or may not appear. Two dollars is too much for it. But get the Season Pass and get everything for a lower price. Recommend the Game? Absolutely. Buying individual DLCs? Not at all. (Positive review for the game)

Fleshburner: Level 8 Orc Warchief. Nothing Special; I defeated dozens like him. Me:Totally maxed out in skills, upgrades and all weapon challenges complete. All weapons have 4 Epic Runes in each one. At this stage of my playthrough this was sort of a pointless quest for me. It took me less than 1 or 2 minutes to snipe Fleshburners 5 member "warband" and then kill him with a couple of speed attacks. I don't know how the DLC quest levels work but if it's this boss is locked at level 8 I can't think of a reason to play/buy this unless you're starting a new game. The rune I got from beating him is ok though.

Included with the Season Pass for me, but that doesn't give it an automatic rating. At first glance, the package has no description of what it is, what it contains, why it would be different from other Warband DLC's, and if it is at all different. This package adds a single "confrontation" mission against a crossbow wielding orc in metal armor. As with all other crossbow wielding orcs in SoM, they tend to be fairly scrawny, thin-boned, and not particularly intimidating. The enemy presented to us in this pack is no different, except he has been given armor. The same type of orcs can have a "rapid-fire" trait, in which they can fire shots in quick unison. This would be a fairly difficult thing to overcome, if they had the "deadly" trait as well. This pack gave me an additional 15 seconds of gameplay, which is technically nothing. Would I recommend this? No. The enemy presented does not have a very interesting character, nor is he very difficult to eliminate. Presents little in ways of spoils, and you end up walking off with a rune that you can find anywhere in the vanilla game.
