Actually a sideways thumb. There's a massive visual lag with a broken record sound right at the moment I game-over in either DD1 or 2 that hits after a second of the countdown timer and goes away after it has already returned to the Title Screen. And I had never previously played 3 before so have no idea if its instant game over with no continue option even on Easy is the norm or a glitch like the other two.
On the one hand it means I have no choice but to get my skill level back up to where it was when I played 1 and 2 endlessly as a kid, but I would have liked to ease myself back into the nostalgia of it a tiny bit more, you know?
