World of Guns: 4 Cars Pack DLC

This is such a cool dlc. I have integrted graphics so I can't run car mechanic simulator. Although I think they did an awesome job with this, there could always be room to improve, such as further stripping the engine and the transmission. But for the money, its a great buy and for this to be a game about guns and there to be cars as well? That's awesome!

Thanks for adding this in the game! It's a great thing that you can simulate the process of assembling or disassembling a Lotus Seven because if you had a Lotus Seven kit car in real life, it could be pain in the a** to assemble it if you don't have any idea what part goes where.

Thanks for adding the DeLorean. However, the torsion bar for the doors is shown mounted backwards. It adjusts from the engine compartment. Looks like if you just mirrored the layout to point the rear instead, it would be accurate.

[h1]Who would like it?[/h1] I only recommend this for people who have an interest in these four specific car models. This is mainly due to there being no other alternative 3D resource I know for these models. You'll probably be willing to overlook the fact that you can't disassemble some components. [h1]Who would not like it?[/h1] Anyone expecting more depth in disassembly (e.g. engine block and transmission are not disassembled) is going to be a bit disappointed. [h1]Overall[/h1] This DLC is really just a proof of concept. Perhaps the devs got tired of modelling guns, after doing a hundred guns straight and thought: "Hey, I bet we can have our same game do cars also." Well, they succeeded. It works, but it doesn't feel suited for the car experience. Cars generally have many more pieces than guns. Consequently, [i]complete[/i] assembly and disassembly feels a bit excessive and tedious. Sure, some might like to try that, but I think many car aficionados would also like the option to do specific components of a car. For example, they may want to [i]just[/i] rebuild the engine block, or [i]just[/i] work on the suspension. Unfortunately, you can't choose to do pieces of a disassembly. It's the whole car or nothing. Ironically, in the effort to make the complete disassembly less tedious, it doesn't include the engine block or transmission (making the complete disassembly less complete). They are simply counted as single pieces. It doesn't make it any less tedious, really. This DLC would work better as a separate product that lets you choose between doing a [i]complete[/i] disassembly [i]or[/i] focusing on disassembly of specific components. There's also a few silly rules. For example: on the Lotus, I can't take out the fuel channel before I take out the tail lights. I don't see how this would be a requisite in real life. To be fair, some of these silly rules pop up on any model, not just cars. However, the pain is just more pronounced on cars, because the cars have more parts and generally take longer to complete than the guns. One mistake means a failed challenge and more wasted time. [h1]Alternatives? (Car Mechanic Simulator)[/h1] Just from the few minutes I have spent with Car Mechanic Simulator, it is much more in depth than this DLC. CMS not only covers assembly/disassembly but also repair, customization and a campaign-esque simulation of running your own garage. If you have a real interest in all types of cars, this is where you want to focus your energies. [h1]Achievements[/h1] Unfortunately for the achievement hunters, there's an achievement associated with unlocking all of these models. The good news is, you can grind it out in the game (without buying the DLC), but it's a hell of a grind to earn the credits to do it.
