surprisingly well-made, with a really complex setting, and a very fun antagonist. the mansion DOES get a bit too big towards the end, especially since the map isn't super helpful, but i did have a very fun time with this

Pretty good. Not really all that scary but it was fun. There's a built in guide if you get lost and you can skip any puzzle (like the train one). The hint mechanic only works if you're in the right room, so that can get annoying if you don't know what you're supposed to be doing. Bonus chapter is a nice, concise epilogue.
Also, the pencil is on the picture frame.
