Don't listen to others / YT reviews / memes. Give it a try, if you truly love Saints Row 2. It brings SR2 vibes as much as possible with tons of activities and mechanics.

Even tho it's an "Activity" DLC with SR4 mechanics this INFINITELY more fun than the the SR reboot. I platnumed it on console, time to do it here as well.

My review never posted? Wild... Anyway, I once opened this game and the forgot I had done that. Not sure if life got in the way or I had plans to do something like stream it but I saw it in my library last week and said fuck it. Let's revisit Saint's Row. It was a good visit to hell. Flying was the best thing and I found myself not very interested in hijacking cars. But I needed to 100% the game so at some point I did tear myself the sky to complete all the challenges. The story is as goofy as ever and it was fun to punch Satan in the face. Repeatedly. I'll miss you dearly, hell!

The last Saints Row game... ever made... No other studio ever picked it up. Pretty sad huh? Not rebooted or anything. Not once. This was the last time Saints Row was seen ever again. Tbh though, I wish they would continue based off the endings of this game. Could merge all the plotlines into one game in one whacky twist. But I digress... this is a fun little game if you played 4 and were unsatisfied (I sure was). Besides, Johnny Gat is fun, and you won't get any more of him unless you play it. Didn't overstay its welcome. Felt better to play than 4. God, I'm gonna miss Saints.

Just what you'd expect from a Saints Row... pure chaos! Flying around Hell with superpowers, causing mayhem, and tearing through demons while hearing the jokes and comments of Johnny Gat is amazing. The humor and the story are ridiculous in the best way possible, gameplay is wild and chaotic. Sure, it's smaller in scale than the main games, but it's all about nonstop action and having a good time... and still, it will keep you busy for quite some time if you strive for 100% completion.

neither fun nor funny as other games in the series but it was cheap and entertained me for 6 hours so thumbs up. It is a short and simple game.

Decently fun spin-off that continues the story of Saints set in Hell. It's enjoyable if you like satisfying traversal and don't mind short, lackluster story. Recommended for die-hard Saints Row fans. Pros: - Good visuals; - Great voice acting; - Fun gameplay; - Co-op; - Excellent traversal; - Good controls; - Great optimization; - Cool arsenal; Cons: - Short for open world game; - No radio; - Bugs and glitches; - Mediocre story; - Repetitiveness;

Rating: 6/10 Saints Row: Gat out of Hell is a standalone expansion that brings players to the underworld, but it struggles to maintain the excitement of its predecessors. While the chaotic and over-the-top gameplay of the franchise remains intact, the game lacks meaningful story progression and mission variety. Instead of a structured campaign, players complete various side activities to fill a "Satan’s Wrath" meter, triggering cutscenes along the way The best addition to the game is the wings, which allow for fun aerial movement across Hell. Upgraded flight mechanics make traversal enjoyable, but the inclusion of anti-aircraft towers can make it tedious at times The weapons based on the Seven Deadly Sins add creativity, such as a recliner with built-in miniguns and a gun that shoots diamonds, but the overall arsenal feels somewhat uninspired Unfortunately, technical issues such as frame rate drops and animation glitches hinder the experience, especially when there's a lot of action on screen. The removal of customization options and radio stations also diminishes the charm of the series Final Verdict: While Gat out of Hell offers some entertaining moments, especially with flight mechanics and supernatural powers, it feels more like a scaled-down expansion rather than a full-fledged experience. Fans of Saints Row may find some enjoyment, but newcomers should look elsewhere for a more complete open-world experience.
