Worth it, the art style is very similar to Danganronpa. Hopefully there will be a second part :)

Has its problems but a fun ride. Didn't realize how much I'd miss it until it was done. Can't wait for a sequel (MAKE A SEQUEL PLEASE I BEG). Halara best.

I think it's a pretty solid mystery game with a story that keeps you hooked, even if it gets a bit predictable in the later chapters. Sometimes it feels like things just happen because the plot needs them to, but the game handles it well enough that it’s not a huge issue, just something worth mentioning. The first chapter is definitely the 2nd best one out of all the chapters. It does a great job of setting up the story and getting you invested. The second chapter isn’t as strong and feels a bit slow, but the rest of the game picks up the pace and keeps things interesting. Overall, the good parts outweigh the weaker ones. One of the weaker aspects of the game is the Mystery Labyrinths. While they’re a cool idea, some of them feel a bit redundant and can be boring to look at. Traversing through them gets repetitive, and after a while, it starts to feel more like a chore than an exciting puzzle, with the only thing carrying them are the exchanges between characters (with the exception of chapter 5). It’s a shame because the concept is interesting, but the execution doesn’t always hit the mark, and side note, it felt like the mysteries got way shorter after chapter 2, maybe to save time and finish the game on a timely manner? Not sure Yuma, the main character, is kind of annoying at first. He comes off as unsure of himself and a little too timid, but he grows on you as the story goes on(sort of). Just when you start to like him though, a major twist changes his character quite a bit. It’s not necessarily bad, but it’s a bit sudden and halts the pace of his character development a bit. The ending leaves a lot of questions unanswered, which feels a little off for a game about solving mysteries. It doesn’t ruin the story, but it does feel like it goes against the whole idea of finding the truth. On the bright side, it sets up for a sequel, so hopefully, there will be more answers down the line. Overall, it's an entertaining mystery game with a good story and interesting characters. It’s not perfect, and some parts feel a little forced, but it’s definitely worth playing if you like detective stories and plot twists. Just be prepared for a bit of repetition in the Mystery Labyrinths.

Story: 7/10 Gameplay: 6/10 Characters: 7/10 I like the game, it really reminded me of danganronpa which I love, but it lacks the suspense and unpredictible-ness of it. I say that because I was able to predict most of the plot twist of it early on the game. But overall, its still a fun experience and interesting story to play.

its leaning more into the freaky side even if you're familiar with kodaka's game. The gameplay is ok-ish but the story and the characters kinda hitting me in the right spot, hoping for a sequel.

Just like with the danganronpa games there were a lot of times I got confused about certain things like "I can only share your forte if we hold hands and you give permission" But the first two times he used it he didn't have to do that lol. Still, this game was fun, gave me something to look forward to after coming home from work!

the hours on my profile don't match the hours I've actually spent on this game, as I've replayed the game 2 times on the nintendo switch (currently going through my 3rd playthrough) One of my favourite games of all time. The highlights of this game for me has truly been the characters, which is the most important factor for me in games like these. I find everyone loveable, though some parts of Shinigami and Desuhiko's character could've been removed a little bit (mostly during chapter 2...). Yuma and Makoto are two amazing characters, and Makoto is truly the hidden gem of a character within this game. The mysteries are pretty straight forward, and solving them feels maybe even like "hand holding" at some point, but chapter 4 and 5 are my favourite chapters from every kodaka games I've played. It's a bit of a "play through it until the very end for the best part" kind of game. I dont typically enjoy replaying these games (like DR) as they're very long and sometimes even dragged out, but the multiple hints and lore drops throughout the chapters, even chapter 0, always make me so giddy and excited to go through the story. I recommend this game if you generally like danganronpa esque games, and you can turn your brain off on certain parts of it that are a little more lacking (but don't bring the entire game down, at least for me.) Please make rain code 2 Kodaka I want to see more Yuma

What a wild ride right to the end (and especially the end). The visuals are unique, and overall, Rain Code is an enjoyable experience. The difficulty is up to the player, and if you're looking for some challenge, you can opt to not use skills.
