It's hard to balance my feelings on this game. I love the visuals and the theming, the base mechanics are rock solid, but I always felt like I was missing a tutorial or two on how to actually properly learn how to play. I'm no slouch at strategy games and I'm reasonable okay at puzzle games but more often than not it felt like victory was by the skin of my teeth- and not in the good way that Dark Souls evokes.
Maybe the way it plays just didn't gel well with me, it happens. Multiplayer is dead at this point but the campaign is very well constructed and the higher level AI's can give you a good run for your money.
