This is possibly the worst ghost game I've ever played

Interesting concept, but it needs more patching before I recommend. The atmosphere is great and the AI ghost is different from our usual ghost hunting games, but it doesn't appear to be on the same page in terms of providing the right evidence to determine the correct ghost type, which makes for a frustrating and unfun time. Will check back in a couple of months and maybe, hopefully, see some improvements.

this is literally just a more complicated phasmophobia, your tutorial barely made sense, felt more like guess work than an actual explanation, while there are some cool ideas ultimately it just comes off as a bland knockoff that even demonologist does a better job at pulling off

Honestly I do enjoy the game and I totally see what the devs tried to go for. We had a blast in the first few hours of playing. It has features, I always wanted Phasmophobia to have (ghost traps, banishing). It has a great lobby with a slot machine!!! Great UI/Shop and so on. The atmosphere kicks right in and is spooky. Kinda hard to learn but once you got the hang of it, it's a lot of fun especially with friends. Don't get me wrong, it does need a lot of polishing and even more so bug fixes, sync fixes (you can't sprint without being bugged back!!) but with some lovely community support and a dev that wanna continue working on it, I can totally see this game becoming something bigger. Afterall, it does have different features that other typical ghost hunting games don't have. So yeah, for the price I got my value Dear Dev, feel free to hit me up so we can give you a detailed list of all the bugs we came across, as well as suggestions, cheers.

In the Ghost Hunting genre of games that have popped up the last few years, you’re probably familiar with ones like Conrad Steven’s Paranormal P.I., Phasmophobia, and a couple others. I’m happy to say that Bureau of Contacts does stand out from similar titles thanks to some differences in how determining ghost type works as well as “quests” you can complete to further your investigation and lead into a new mechanic. Unlike others in the genre, once you figure out what the ghost is, you can find out more information about their past and use that to aid in an exorcism. These take a bit of time and are rather challenging, but you do get extra rewards for completing them.
