This game is feel good and also self challenging. I set goals for myself and as I progress I constantly try and fail challenges I set for myself until I progress more and eventually beat them. It has some Animal Crossing vibes and a bit of Breath of the Wild thrown in too. I never played Boku no Natsuyasumi but this game is making me want to go back and try them. I love how well written parts of this are your character truly writes, thinks, and says things the way a child would. Plus the random bits of adult narration make it feel more nostalgic, like this is an adult thinking back to one of the most free and fun summers of his life. Haven't finished my first play through yet but I can tell it has replayability.
This game is relaxing and addicting, do yourself a favor and buy it. It doesn't cost that much and you will get lots of entertainment from it.

A pleasant game to chill out with.
Reminds me a little of my childhood wandering through the bush climbing trees and such.

I recommend to play this game on normal pace and not relaxed or rapid. The map is huge and there are a lot of things to explore. That is why i was playing it in relaxed pace. It was nice, i got to explore a lot of things longer, but it soon became repetitive, especially when i was in the last week of Summer, at that point i have done things that made me intrigued that the rest seemed boring. Fishing in this game is one of the bad things about this game. It's really hard to get a new discovered fish. All things considered, it's a relaxing game that people need to try. I rate it 7,5 / 10.

Despite having one of the best designed maps I've seen and a really affordable gameplay with room to be mastered, the whole experience is weighed down due to excessive length (yes, even at “Rapid” speed). It really felt like the definitive version of the Boku formula until halfway through the game I had almost everything completed, or at least the most interesting stuff. From then on there are a couple of new systems that don't end up justifying the disbursement of so many extra hours. Even so, I enjoyed it a lot, and it's certainly one of those titles that I'll gladly see myself mentally going through its streets, forests and mountains as the years go by.
