Easily one of the worst games I played EVER. How the heck do you fuck up a top down shooter this bad?
Missions are extremely repetitive, with all of them being either escort missions, defense missions, or eliminate X amount of something.
The environments look extremely bland and boring, and the difficulty scaling was INSANE.
You could be having a stroll in killing aliens, and then the game just drops in 3 bullet sponges killing you almost immediately.
Save yourself the time and money, and play Alien Shooter instead.
The same price as the two games, but way more fun.

Broken port. 343 won't fix it, they say "Oh it has controller support!" But if you launch with Steam Input enabled it just crashes the game.
Lame devs can pull their games from the store if they don't want to fix them. I THINK the default X-input would work, but that's not the point. I shouldn't have to figure out workarounds for your game. Especially not a ten year old console port that you've had years to fix.
Don't buy it. Pirate it, it would probably work better.
Edit: On one machine it will only launch without overlay/Steam Input, and it doesn't even work on my laptop, or my friend's laptop. Game is busted, 343 doesn't care.

Awesome story, fairly nice cinematics TERRIBLE HORRIBLE CONTROLS
Between the abysmal controls and the HORRIFIC hoops to jump through just to play the freaking game (disable steam controller input, verify files, run in compatibility mode, run as admin, play offline steam mode, etc.)
Shooting feels "weird" not in the top-down sense but also just actually feels weird like inconsistent cyclic fire rate for the AR, even the pistol feels off, every single weapon is "weird"
at its core its a nice fun game, just horrible execution. Halo Wars while a slightly different genre as an RTS handled the camera controls, and impression of various weapons/vehicles a lot better.
