Amazingly well done politics simulator with a few turn based strategy elements. Achieving the golden ending of uniting all races in one federation is very difficult and requires both specific tactics and a good dose of luck. However, this game has SOOO much more to offer, that being laser-focused on just the best ending should not be the point.
There are a few events that just immediately lock you out of the best ending, but still offer a whole slew of mechanics that encourage you to keep going, to see, how you can influence the politics into your favor anyway.
It is a bit disappointing though, that some of your options are not worth it, by being too expensive, achieving almost nothing of value or requiering too much time.
