I am glad it's finally on steam, I just wish most of these games would have online co-op. This one does, why can't they?

So I've been a Musou/Warriors fan for almost 20 years and I've realized that I enjoy Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi and the licensed IP warriors games WAY more than OG Dynasty Warriors. SW4 DX is really fun and I appreciate the plethora of modes and a create-a-character campaign. SW4 DX >>>>>>>DW Origins IMO

Very Fun Musou game, love the character creator mode

The absolute definitive way to play Samurai Warriors 4. It includes just about every piece of DLC and has the excellently refined combat of SW4 for a justified cost. This port is excellent and accurate to the original in every way. Samurai Warriors 4 is one of the greatest Musou's to date with 55 characters pretty much all with incredibly fun movesets, and tons of maps to play. Along with plenty of story content, while not as focused as SW2, SW5 or Spirit of Sanada, it makes up for it with some of the best gameplay in the entire franchise. Chronicle mode isn't quite as indepth as the portable titles, and it lacks SW2's bonus modes, but those are very small nitpicks.

Better than Samurai warriors 3, its great to have a port of Samurai warriors 4 on steam it makes the game so convenient to play. If you are looking to get this game i do recommend XD since it includes the DLCs that was released for the base game.

This is a fantastic port with all of the DLC included. Disclaimer: this is my favorite of the Warriors games so I am biased, but I can't recommend this enough. This game has a lot of content with all of the story modes, and also includes the Chronicles mode, where you create your own samurai and travel across the country, meeting the other officers, increasing your friendship with them, and writing your own story/history. Chronicles felt like the natural progression of Ambition mode from Dynasty Warriors 8. What more can I say? This is a great game with a great roster of characters (and much more varied than some recent entries), and everyone has their own weapon type. Yes, some of them are ludicrous (scarf as a weapon???) but that's part of the charm of the warriors franchise.

Yooo I only got this game because I had Touken Ranbu Warriors and I wanted to try more warrior games. Immediately I see the difference since there are different modes you can choose from, there is even character customization!!!! If you like controller warrior games I would really recommend this one

Though definitely on the 'too easy' side because of how stupid OP Rage Mode and Items are, it's still mindless good fun.

Probably the best and fullest SW experience, which provides countless hours of content and is very polished.

This is a great port! And it has all(most?) of the DLC's! I definitely recommend it! I only wish KT would go back and update some of their older ports released in the last 10 or so years to bring them to this level(Maybe DX-ify DW8 and DW8 Empires too). Here's to hoping for more older ports making it to PC(I wish for Warriors Orochi Z, please)!
