The city map is quite too much closed due to many scenario blocking road access, had to go different way Before play DR 3 ! Need play at least DR 2 to understand the story, and learn about DR 1 first Exploration experience : Many blueprint weapon can be created over 100 making it worth to explore all side mission DLC experience : Every each of them are not so bad and some are connected to the sequel of the series so it is a must play, each consist around 2-3 hours story time and exploration weapon DLC not so interesting but just enough to add variative play to the game

Great fun! even better with friends, we are having an amazing time! If you are looking for a zombie game that is mostly unserious, this is your game! the story isn't bad, and the inbetweens are hilarious! The abilities to put together outfits that are crazy and borderline unhinged looking is great. Human bosses are fun and interesting. 10/10 for the craziness that is Dead Rising 3

Besides the fact that the PC port is a disgrace to the human race, it's not a good game. Sure, it's fun for the first, I don't know, 7 to 8 hours, but then you get all those pointlessly tanky zombies everywhere and even moving around becomes a chore. The map design is pretty annoying and the story is a mess.

to hard to find anything, nothing marked, useless maps, sends you into maze buildings, finish mission and then cant find way out. fk your trash game

Extremely disappointed. Such a unique concept - combo weapons, MacGyver stuff, weapons, vehicles... Killing zombies becomes so boring, so dull. I'm currently at 25,000 zombie kills... Like come on. After that much anything can be boring. But that's not the main problem. This map is THE WORST one I've experienced in any game I've ever played. Absolute dog crap. 4 "main" locations, spread in the four corners of the map, connected by blocked off highways chock full of zombies, absolutely horrid collectable locations, thousands of stupid collectibles, which most of are quest locked... The controls on PC feel so disgusting, unbearable almost. The performance is also horrible, optimization is awful. The story is abysmal, no memorable characters, couldn't give a rats arse about any of them. The entire game is a grocery getter, running around like a headless fly. Bosses are annoying at best. Here comes the absolute worst - time limits. The genre of this should be "Time limit simulator". You have a time limit on absolutely f-ing everything. But despite that half of the missions are "Wait for ... to play with his ding ding...". Then boom, go from one to the other farthest corner of the map. Dog. Shite. Full of GAME BREAKING bugs Do not buy. At massive sales it's 6 euro, which still feels like a scam. 3.5/10

By far the best dead rising I've played to date. I got bored of no1, never interested me, bought no2 and got bored within 5+ hours game play (cant remember) and this I played 15 hours and never got bored once. Pros- - Funny - Co-op story - Plenty of weapons - Plenty of vehicles - Many things to collect - Fair few side objectives - Ok boss fights Cons- - DLC isn't coop - Quite a fair amount of bugs i.e. random disconnects, stuck underneath the map, vehicles stuck in walls, etc. - Poor combat system - Sometimes the zombies swarm way too much and then ontop of that combined with incredibly fast spawn rate makes it feel like killing is a waste of time - If there is 2 items on the floor next to each other you have to get a pixel angle to pick it up, at one point I spent 10 minutes trying to pick up a police uniform off a wall from a store because I couldn't find the pixel to pick it up. Final rating 5/10, not fun outside of coop or a massive discount on the game.

it isn't the first two games and that's okay! at least it isn't the fourth 💀💀💀 the pc port isn't all that polished so you may have to tinker a little for it to make it look smooth because it's capped at 30fps and the camera shake might get some ppl nauseous but other than that it's a solid dead rising title that tries to innovate from what the previous ones did and succeeds (in some ways) but also falls flat in other ways. while this game still does retain the silliness and the combo weapons especially up the ante from previous weapons, the charm from exploring a mall and doing dumb stuff is gone, it's been replaced with hack n slash combat that allows you to do finishers, not unlike the first two where every weapon (kind of) has a unique attack attached to them. overall if you like the series it's still some good ol dead rising, just uniquely different!
