Played this series on Kongregate. Its fun, I wouldnt mind if they revamped this franchise, I'd definitely buy to support it.

Best game ever made. This game is so awesome ><. So simple but so awesome. She made it so you can make mods for it. I'm going to have to start playing with that. There is even a workshop tab in steam with some mods.

I remember playing the two original rebuilds on a browser using flash when i was a child, and was very excited to finally play the final one on steam. It's rather enjoyable and I Definitely got my moneys worth, although there are a few things that make me not want to play it again.
The fact it isn't turn based makes it a bit more tedious than the two original ones as you must constantly pause in order to give them new missions, along with how you must position your defenders instead of them all counting towards a defence total. Also, the requirement to ally or eliminate all other factions to win a map makes it so that you need to tediously spam donations a few dozen times before you can move on to the next. Otherwise, it's still rather fun, and a nice finale to the series.

I real disappointment compared to the previous games, which were a lot simpler but I liked them more. Moving more towards a full arcade, not serious style was a turn off. There was no real interesting innovation since rebuild 2. I just can't take it seriously.
I don't find it very fun either. I played through it still but it was meh. The story was kinda lame.
Rebuild 1 had the best direction, 2 introduced cool features but 1 still had the best setting. Adding individual skills to characters was the downfall in my opinion has it became less about numbers and more about basically main characters/heros.
