Enemy Front is terrible.
Even though the game looks good, it's gameplay is horrible. Every fight has the same music. As soon as a fight is over the music returns to some background piano theme. Objectivmarkers are way too big and sometimes obscure the view onto enemies, Enemies are incredibly stupid but can hit you from all across the map and kill you within seconds. The story so far is lame and kept in prerendered cutscenes with abismal quality.
Overall the game sucks. I got it pretty cheap on sale, but I still feel like I overpayed.

Holy, you look at games that came out around and before this era, Metro 2033, COD, even the STALKER games compared to this and there's a lot left to be had.
IDK how this game got the reviews it does, the AI is bad/easy, the first hour in is boring, and the game feels like it should have been made in like 2002.

Enemy Front is a World War II shooter that, while not without its flaws, offers an enjoyable experience for fans of the genre. The game's biggest strengths lie in its open-ended level design and impressive visuals, which create a sense of freedom and immersion that many linear shooters lack. You're given multiple ways to approach objectives, whether you prefer to go in guns blazing or take a stealthy approach.
The game's ambition sometimes outstrips its execution, and the final product feels a bit average, especially considering it came out in 2014, a year packed with standout titles. The story is not particularly great, and the voice acting could be better, sometimes feeling a bit flat and uninspired. I personally experienced no bugs or glitches during my playthrough, but it's worth noting that many other players have reported a fair number of them. The enemy AI can also be inconsistent, and some of the stealth mechanics don't feel as polished as they could be. Furthermore, the game lacks a variety of music, with a handful of tracks becoming repetitive throughout the campaign.
Despite its shortcomings and average nature, the game is overall pretty fun. It's a passable title, and while it's nothing to write home about, the moments of intense combat and satisfying gunplay largely overshadow its flaws. Plus, the campaign is pretty short, so it doesn't overstay its welcome. It's also often available for a very cheap price on sale, which makes it a much more appealing purchase.
Ultimately, if you're looking for a solid WWII shooter that gives you more freedom than a typical on-rails experience, Enemy Front is worth checking out. It may not be a perfect game, but it's a fun and memorable one.
