The creators of this game don't know how people run. It's impossible for me to find any settings for it that don't absolutely make me want to vomit after only ~20 into the game. It's unplayable as far as my brain is concerned. It just gives me extreme motion sickness. I'm very surprised. It's a shame because I love the Slenderman mythos behind it.

I'm happy to have finally finished this game after giving up on it years ago.
I replayed it in VR, which gave me more immersion, but overall the game fails as a fun experience.
There is one level that was well done (farm), the others are boring or frustrating. The recording UI overlay is also annoying, couldn't turn it off. Horror through jumpscares, not actual building of mood, setting, character, story etc. falls flat in the end.

MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD: Really scary, I might just be a pansy but hearing Kate in the tunnels of the underground mines chasing me while i frantically search for generators is REALLY scary. The games story is excellent, and is by FAR the best edition of slender-mans story, there's no BS, just good horror and lore. Slender-man has 2 proxies of his likeness that also stalk you throughout the game, the 2 being Kate and Charlie, both of whom are terrifying. The game does an excellent job at conveying the story, while still being scary. Not just that, the game has a sense of beauty, more so in the ending chapters, the game does a surprisingly well job at making nice scenery. Good game.
