one of my favorite games, the update made it even better. 10/10, good spooky game. :)

i play slender and game dark. i cant see nothin. i walk slow and hear creepy noises. i scared and run but no fast. slender man tall and skinny. he chase me and i trip and fall. no help. game say find pages but i lost every time. i fall in hole and die. stupid game. FINAL SCORE: 1 scared bean outta 10, i pee pants

The 2015 version of Slender: The Arrival is the best version there is. I wouldn't go along with the Remastered stuff because it barely runs on my computer, and it feels significantly less eerie than the 2015 version. When I was young I really liked the whole Slender thing and I watched Youtube videos and played The Eight Pages, and maybe i shouldn't have, but regardless I did, and so I got this game and I was excited to play it. I played through it all, collecting pages and stuff, and it was pretty fun. There's even a secret or two in this game if you look for them. I'll say that my favorite levels of all were probably Homestead and Into The Abyss, because those weren't as upfront about horror but kinda walked you into it. As for whether the game is good or not, yea, I'd say it is. The 2015 version of course. I haven't played the Remastered version and I don't plan to. It has room for improvement of course. But it's good. 9/10

its one of the best renditions of Slender available. not only sparked by a massive wave of Youtuber playtime, but it brings a new light to the Tale of The Slenderman creating an instant Indie Horror Classic. Its a must play for any horror fans looking for something new to take on. Slender: The Arrival had great visuals for its time, paired with an interesting soundtrack sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. it may not be the horror games of today, but its a throwback worth trying at least once.

If you are going to play this game, please play the 2015 version. The anniversary update is a joke, and is genuinely just really disappointing and very cheesy. Right click on the game in your library before you download it, go to properties, betas, and select the 2015 one to save yourself the trouble of having to deal with the stupid bullshit these guys thought would be cool to add in, please do not play the anniversary update, it really fucks with the strong suits of the game and is just so far out of touch with the atmosphere and story of the original game that it is not worth your time.
