This game should be thought in school to prevent illiteracy.

First things first: Being originally a "mature" rail shooter for the Nintendo Wii, this game is [i]stupid[/i]. Gleefully stupid. Tarantino as seen through the eyes of Internet 14 year-olds circa whatever the hell year [i]Snakes on a Plane[/i] happened stupid. Gratuitous violence, unlikable characters, racial stereotypes, girls with big jugs and small brains. But it's okay, we're just being ironic. There is a level set in a strip club. Obviously. I would find this unbearable in a shooter, but as a typing game it's a perfect marriage of reflex, cognition, and dexterity (yes I know that's a 3-way marriage, unbunch thy panties it is but a metaphor). You finish each level feeling drained, but then you're rewarded with a cutscene that shuts down the rational mind like a wet fart at a eulogy. So you get a little rest before the carnage begins again. [i]Typing of the Dead: Overkill[/i] is nothing less than a debasement of the very concept of language, and I think we can all agree that's basically a healthy thing.

If you need help learning how to type under pressure, than this is the game for you. Bonus stress points if you cover your keyboard and hands with a cloth so you are completely forced to touch type.

That game is so fun and addictive to play ! It's full of humor and it has a great replay value. But to avoid stressing yourself, ignore the Typing of The Dead: Overkill mode. It's a real killjoy and the House of The Dead (and its Director's cut) mode is MUCH better to play !

Played with a Blamcon light gun: 8/10 This... is not the game you think it is. If you click on "House of the Dead Overkill" in the menu, you get a treat. A full on high quality light gun game. This game is excellent, well done, and fully complete. I don't know why they hid it in a typing tutor program.

This game is hilarious and so well put together that it all makes sense even in most bizarre settings. Love the humor and the sound of my keyboard trembling from all the unusual words I'm learning.
