All the waifu can't remove the need for female companionship.

Not for everyone but the polish on the audiovisuals is astounding. Everything looks utterly beautiful and sounds gorgeous. Gameplay is a tad slow with attacks stopping momentum but it isn't objectively bad.

TL:DR - It's a good game but way to EXPENSIVE. If you can get it with discount - go for it.
So - I have mixed feelings about this one. The art style is inconsistent. Pixel art gameplay, ultradetailed visual effects, visual novel dialogues and menus. But it was acceptable.
The gameplay is specyfic - no dodge, no parry, and no combos. Single hit animations, which lowers the speed of the game. Also - almost all attacks uses your "stamina" (called DP in game), and you need checkpoint or potions to restore it. So longer exploration can be very problematic.
Also - the balance of the game is strange - some early bosses are way to harder than later ones.
BUT
I had a lot of fun playing it. It has typical metroidvania's tropes, but also has some super unique mechanics and skills. Some bosses are skill checks for your cleverness. Using friends like pokemons during fights or solving puzzles is a nice touch. Voice acting is really nice. After getting use to "single hit" mechanics, you can feel the rythm of the game. Also - it's not to hard. You can try to beat bosses without healing potions, but if you struggle, you can brute force them after a little money grind.
In my opinion, the mainor issue with the game is it's price, but I can see it's typical for Asian released games. I've finished the game with all of the Achievements in less than 9 hours.

had this on my maybe list for a good while even after seeing some gameplay footage id been skeptical, finally decided to get it when it was on a steep discount.
my favorite part of this game was the art. the characters and enemies were delightfully rendered and fun to watch
everything else is... complete apathy on my part.
-every character other then the MC has only about a minute or two of dialog each (and the mc has about as much per side character). just enough to potentially fill a character sheet with a few snipits to give a severely summarized estimation to their job and personality
-which is sadly more explanation then you get for why/how/what you are doing here, as the plot is very thin. -the whole thing felt like i was doing some really long side quest/story that was tacked on as filler dlc to a much larger game.... and a majority of the time spent was just trying to figure out where i can go in the first several biomes after finding the next progression tool. as well as time spend grinding materials for the crafting system, which there is no in game info for, you have to figure out where everything drops on your own.
-the biggest offender tho by far is... this game has no difficulty... and i dont mean settings....
--from the start you can teleport to any save point you have used (tho i didnt figure this out til an hr or so in)
--there is a shop that sells nothing but consumable healing items available at any time (which again... had no idea til awhile in cause this game only explains a FEW skill mechanics and leaves the rest for you to learn blind)
--enemies and breakables all respawn on touching a save spot and they all drop TONS of cash... which can only be used in the recovery consumable shop... meaning you can (and towards the end are EXPECTED) to just brute force your way through the game... which i wound up doing about 1/2 way into the game while defeating bosses with ease with only mid to mid high end weapons and a couple of finally end game trinkets i managed to complete... could not find the last few components to make the super op stuff even after spending hours scouring every area for them... having opened every single chest and explored every section of map
and on the subject of time i completed the game with near 100% (due to no clue where those elusive components were) in 3 seconds under 10 hours
i do greatly enjoy the in game art style. and the characters seemed like they would be fun in a more fleshed out game. but this one just felt hollow and empty like it was shoved out of production too early
