Eyes of War stands out with its impressive graphics and tactical warfare mechanics. However, the game can become repetitive in the long run. Still, it's worth a try for strategy lovers!

Although the game is in early access, I really enjoyed it overall. I would like to congratulate the team. I was happy to see the roadmap they shared, and I believe they will fulfill their promises completely. I didn't encounter any bugs that affected gameplay. For an early access game, it's really well done. I'm looking forward to the upcoming updates and additions. Once again, congratulations to the team!

Fun game overall and an interesting idea. Age of empires meets Bannerlords, a little bit buggy but Im sure that will be ironed out over time. Needs more music variety. This game could be so much better if you were allowed to create your own team - Banners, armour, stats. With a designated cost for unit type and armour costs would make it S tier. Personally Id prefer to have more armours and weapons that are a little more historical but that's just me. But If this game would allow you to make custom teams that would be amazing and in the long run less work for the developers as you could try out different combinations of armours and perks for your team.

played only once, tried logging back in and it keeps crashing in the "eyes of war" logo loading page, error code: Unity 6000.0.38182314a941f2d a few hours after i posted this i reported it and after a while it went back to normal, would recommend this game.

This game is really cool with great potential, but the unrefined RTS elements make that portion of the game unplayable. After getting some hands-on experience, this is what I feel needs to change before I comeback: - Ability for complex unit control (pressing shift on a unit while you have a control group selected adds the newly selected units to the control group. Control+Shift adds all units of that type to your 'selected' control group.) - A double tap of a control group number centres the camera on the unit. - Be able to elect more than one building at a time with shift or control/building control groups - A unit panel with unit portraits, allowing you to exclude all other units from the 'selected' control groups with control+click and shift+click to remove all units of that type from the 'selected' control group. - Hold shift to queue tasks for units, such as movement waypoints. - The ability to attack move - Change the angle of the strategic camera to be more vertical. Right now, the distance grows exponentially the closer your cursor is to the edge, and it needs to be flattened. Better yet, the option to change the angle of the camera yourself between a range of 30 and 90 degrees. The reason it's still a positive review? The developers are engaged with reading feedback and I hope that leads to the recognition they deserve for what this game could be.

Uncomplete, decent concept but this is more like a demo than a complete game. Pacing issues that don't seem correctable and a core game that just doesn't deliver.

I honestly think this might be the worst game I've ever seen. The third-person is literally just the bones, no substance to it at all. The RTS aspect is uninspired. The UI is not on any screenshots for a reason! But there is just no depth to the game. Build units, upgrade your center and technologies, wait for it to finish, build army, attack... Maybe.. If your units decide they will move. Very few units, broken down basically to melee, ranged, cav, siege. Depending on civ, there may be more than 1 option for each. I went to attack the AI, killed his army and was about to move in. So the AI just... built walls.. huge stone walls right in front of my army and enclosed their entire base in seconds, with my army attacking the wall as it was built. Made ZERO difference. One of the few remaining gold mines outside my base, so the AI just spammed economic buildings on it and my entire army couldn't destroy them faster than they were built, so they just mined the entire mine no problem. I fail to see the vision or the potential in this.

Shows some promise, but isn't optimized and is neither a great RTS nor a great action game. It's decent and reasonably priced and when the game is more fleshed out with features and optimization i will look this up again.

3/10 Cons - AI is atrocious, a lot of the time units get stuck or will not move. Both enemies and your own units - AI can add stairs to their walls and put troops on them but they don't. Players have option build the stairs but cannot as its always red and there is no other way to get units on the walls like a gatehouse or a tower also serving this purpose in similar titles... so putting troops on walls not possible as intended. - Player units will obey comments, until they decide they will ignore them and do something else. Especially when attacking a certain target or going to a specific location. - Groups of units will not maintain formation. Selecting a different group and giving it a formation will reset the others globally. - limited units and tech - balancing issues for both units and Eco. - Multiplayer is dead, you will be lucky if you see a lobby open. And if you do its probably locked anyhow. Middle ground - Graphics are great up to high, Ultra seems to be un-optimized and crashes the game. I'm going to assume maybe its on my end but i don't have this issue with others. High its not bad in 1st person. Pro's - Can hot-swap between units during battle like the old Battlefield series on the original Xbox or Rise and Fall: Alexander on PC. RAFA was better... by leagues and its old AF. - Cheap at $14.99 during writing this review, but i doubt ill play this again unless Someone i know wants to try multiplayer, I feel the game was intended for this too so ill add to this when that happens.
