Habiendo el recopilatorio de los rework/remake de los tres primeros, esto ya no merece la pena ni de oferta!

Let's just start by saying, this version, probably not a recommend. But if you're buying the remastered then yeah I think it's probably worth it.
This version took a bit of tweaking to get working, and even then, if you dare touch any settings it'll probably crash. Half of the cutscenes never played so I had to find, and watch them on yt.
Would I recommend the actual game though? I think yes, just about. If you are familiar with these older types of games, and can put up with the jank controls and terrible camera then there is quite a well put together game for the most part.
Most of the levels I did quite enjoy, but some were really not well designed in my opinion. Don't listen to the reviews that say it's impossible without a guide because that's really not true. I think the right balance of enjoyment in this game is give it your all by yourself, and if you really are stuck what to do for quite a while, then look up a guide.
You do need patience in this game, that's for sure, and if something isn't working, you need to be flexible and try something different, or try find another way to go for now. It must be said, you can get lost quite easily, and the path to progress can be quite obscure. This is something that might be better in the remastered but I did find it quite hard to tell different textures apart. Whether a wall is climeable or not, whether a block can be pushed or not, whether the ceiling can be climbed on etc. I got stuck a few times because of this strange inconsitency with doors. Most doors are an obvious open or closed, maybe with a lock or something. But rarely, maybe 2 or 3 times, a door that would appear locked, but just swings open when you get close to it. The game can be quite unfair with traps and deaths too. There are a fair few times where you'll die because something happens that you couldn't possibly predict. Luckily the saving grace is being able to save wherever you are. Just make sure to save very often, and occasionally save in another slot too because there are a few opportunities to soft lock yourself.
Overall, once you're used to the controls and camera and saving often, the game is quite enjoyable for the most part. Exploring and figuring out what to do, where to go is a big challenge, but it can be quite rewarding. Sometimes progress can really be quite obscure, so I think it's best enjoyed by doing your best by yourself, but maybe refer to a guide every so often if your are getting stuck for long periods of time.
I would recommend playing the game tomb raider 3, but it might be less of a headache and best enjoyed using the remastered version.

I remember not getting far with this game when I was little. As an adult, I'm loving just working it out and doing my best not to look at any guides. So nice to play a game that does not hold your hand and thoroughly enjoying the challenge.
