Angel's Gear Reviews

Angel's Gear is a metroidvania eldritch themed game about a weapon of mass destruction being created on earth by two brothers Heathcliff and Locke) that happens to consume matter at will. This resulted in the entire universe being consumed by the Gear. The Gear later made its way to another dimension so it can use living and non-living things as extensions of itself like a cancer. You play as a lone soldier who is lucky to survive in a deadly war when all of his platoon were killed in the battlefield. He met a small group of survivors living inside a bunker who were willing to help him defeat Heathcliff (who was heavily corrupted by the Gear's power) and his monstrous minions. Little did he know is that the lone soldier was part of a huge prophecy as a messiah to stop the forces of evil and restore balance in the Godhead. The game itself was a little difficult but still fun to play. The music is good. The background, enemy and character designs are creative. The upgrades you collect are very useful. And the story itself was interesting from start to finish. Angel's Gear is worth playing if you're interested in Metroidvanias or Eldritch style games. Scumhead proves that his endless imagination is what makes his games interesting and nothing can take that away from him. Overall Rating: 10/10
