Good game cowboy!

Very little roam, mostly rails with small reticle. You big cowboy with small reticle, you shoot no damage, no matter how red, other cowboy with bigger gun say "you grower not shower" and laugh then shoot you.

Never knew that playing the wild west would bring me here to call of juarez. I felt gamer cool when I started kicking doors and entering into the deadeye concentration mode thing. Peak ngl

This one was so much better than the first game it had me shook for a minute. It's not perfect, still some jank here and there, some story beats were poorly delivered, and the quickdraw dueling system doesn't feel quite right. Though tbf on that last note, every single western game seems to struggle with such a system. But overall, this is a solid western shooter and I had fun going through it, definitely recommend.

Terrific story, and top notch voice acting. Impressive scenery and visuals for the era. Great western story-rich FPS.

I got this on sale for $2, and it was definitely worth at least $2. The story is phenomenal, a tale of a family whose ties are tested by war, women, and greed. The gameplay has a pretty weird difficulty scale, however. I played through the campaign on medium, and found it to be incredibly difficult in some parts. Enemies taking 4 rounds to the chest from a very good pistol while still firing back, getting stunlocked by thrown dynamite, there was a few points where it felt like it was on a harder difficulty despite easily getting by previous missions. However, it is beatable and the story alone is worth recommending. I'd say get it on sale, but don't pay full price.
