i have never been so disappointed in a game i was so excited for! the co-op is a huge disaster and i think it's unacceptable to even sell it as a multiplayer game. the sequences in between make not much sense or just dont have any higher purpose because they decided to let the characters speak a language you don't understand.. without any subtitles! you dont do more then just walk and press one button to interact with something.. oh and you can turn the field of view. i didnt feel challenged at all.
i highly DO NOT recommend to buy this game!
WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!
Review of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake
I recently finished playing the remake of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons with a friend, and I’d like to share my thoughts.
Visuals & Environment
The remake truly makes a difference in graphics and environmental detail. The game world is beautifully rendered, with visuals that far surpass those of the original version. Every element feels more refined and immersive, making it well worth experiencing.
Narrative & Storytelling
The storytelling departs from the typical pattern of many games—where challenges eventually lead to a tidy, happy ending. Instead, this remake gives you hope at first and then gradually strips it away, compelling you to face a more realistic and bittersweet reality. This nuanced narrative approach adds a unique emotional depth that sets it apart.
Co-op Gameplay & Controls
Playing in Co-op mode is straightforward, with each character controlled by just two buttons. While the simplicity makes the game accessible, it also feels a bit too minimal. I found myself wishing for more interactions between the characters and additional gameplay options. Nonetheless, the simplicity has its own charm, even if it leaves a bit to be desired.
Technical & Physics Issues
There are a few technical aspects that could be improved:
Rope Physics
: The tether connecting the characters is problematic. The physics feel off, with a dragging effect and a delay when interacting with objects—as if you need to hold the button longer than expected.
Movement Constraint
: The hidden constraint between the characters is particularly frustrating. When you move too far apart, one character freezes and just flails around instead of smoothly stopping and turning. This abrupt behavior disrupts the gameplay experience, and it would be better handled by imposing movement limits that allow for natural pauses and adjustments.
Overall
Overall, while the Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake excels in visuals and offers a refreshing narrative, it falls short in some technical areas that impact the co-op experience. I hope future updates address these issues to fully realize the game’s potential.

It was good, I didn't really know what I was doing, but it was good. Not great, but good. Too short though

The remake stays true to the heartwarming and emotional journey of the original while enhancing the experience with modern visuals and smoother gameplay. The upgraded graphics bring the world to life with more detailed environments and improved lighting, making the story even more immersive.
The core gameplay remains the same, with players controlling both brothers simultaneously in a unique and engaging way. However, some might find the control scheme still a bit tricky to master. While the remake doesn’t add much new content, it successfully revitalizes the classic with a fresh coat of paint and better animations.
Overall, if you loved the original or missed it the first time around, this remake is a great way to experience the touching and beautifully crafted adventure.
