ending was trying too hard to be "dark" and just ended up being stupid.

Very unique game with some great ideas but poor execution. Can be a bit frustrating until you get the hang of things. Worth a play for a few bucks. Don't let the age or lack of polish distract you too much from enjoying a cool experience.

I remember playing the Demo on PS3 back then as a kid back in 2012 when it was first released but never got to play the full game til now. honestly its a great game, a solid 9/10 only thing that lacked was the controls were a bit wonky so they needed to be remapped and sometimes the game would crash here and there. but other than that, the main thing is I never got to know the truth to what happened to *Henry* also what happened to the main character in the end, did he find his wife and daughter? and who was the girl in the end.
Main thing is as well im let down that Ubisoft abandoned this game years ago yet the game had so much potential, the post apocalyptic vibes it has just had me immersed since I LOVE genres like that.

Atmospherical and unique gameplay. Glad it was released at all, but too bad the whole game didn't make it. Would to see more of it. Maybe Part II with Julie looking for her dad? That would be awesome. Recommened!

Quite an interesting game to be honest.
The oppressive and dark atmosphere and the combat based on intimidation caught my attention from the very start. And racing against your stamina while climbing is intense.
Unfortunately, the game gets dull after a while: the story is meh and the chapters are just going from point A to B and returning. I would much rather it being a linear game than an """open world""". Overall, the game feels like it was rushed (it's not a surprise given it went through development, including scrapping the original vision).
If you are into playing these kind of niche games, I would say this one is worth on discount.
