Beeny is... A historical adventure. There were moments in my life, in which i never saw truth in value of life. Beeny, has shown me a new purpose of my existence. Beeny is effectively, the only true god. Me and all of my friends instantly died of a heart attack.

This game was cute! it's short, but it didn't need to be any longer than it was,
It reminded me of some games I used to play when I was younger, and I absolutely adore the SNES era aesthetic!

Another game from solo developer Siactro, Beeny follows the pattern of being very short, appealing to nostalgia, and having absolutely delightful gameplay.
Beeny will only last you fifteen minutes or so, but the nine levels all feel very polished - with very intuitive jump physics and a well-thought-out progression of gimmicks. The controls are very simple (move left, move right, jump), but the physics feel really good, and I always felt in control and satisfied.
It's impressive how well the visuals ape those of the [Donkey Kong Country] games on the SNES, with sprites baked off of pre-rendered 3D models. The soundtrack is also very nice, and adds to the good vibes.
