In my opinion absolutely the best in the series. Compound bow is extremely satisfying to use and it's a great addition.
Easiest yet somehow the most frustrating to 100% out of the three.
Soundtrack is just amazing. More emotional and somehow more epic than that of Crysis 2 made by Hans Zimmer. The whole vibe and leitmotiv fit Crysis' universe perfectly. I didn't get that feeling in Crysis 1 and 2.
Storyline feels somewhat forced.
Alpha ceph comes out of nowhere right at the beginning of the game. Final fight with him is underwhelming and feels too easy even on the highest difficulty. Then when a bigger threat comes from space you just aim a space cannon at it and that's that.
Also, from time to time there is a try at getting the player emotionally engaged and to maybe shed a tear but it's a fail every time.
Graphics are spectacular.

Crysis 3 Remastered is the ultimate evolution of the Crysis formula, blending the open-ended sandbox combat of the first game with the refined mechanics and cinematic storytelling of the second. With stunning visuals, tight gunplay, and a powerful Nanosuit arsenal, this is an absolute must-play for FPS fans who love tactical flexibility and high-intensity action.
The Nanosuit in Crysis 3 is at its peak, offering a perfect blend of stealth, power, and mobility. Whether you’re using Cloak to silently eliminate enemies, Armor to tank through firefights, or Power to leap across rooftops and crash through obstacles, the game makes you feel like an unstoppable super-soldier. The freedom of approach is incredible—engage enemies head-on, pick them off with a high-tech bow, or bypass them entirely. Every encounter feels like a combat puzzle with multiple solutions.
The environments are breathtaking. Set in a post-apocalyptic New York City overgrown with nature, Crysis 3 offers some of the most visually striking locations in the series. The mix of urban ruins, dense jungles, and futuristic alien-infested zones provides a perfect playground for the game’s sandbox combat. The remastered version enhances the already gorgeous visuals, with improved lighting, textures, and performance that make every scene jaw-dropping.
The weapons are another highlight, with a fantastic arsenal ranging from traditional firearms to futuristic alien tech. The Predator Bow is a standout addition, offering silent, deadly takedowns with multiple ammo types that add even more tactical variety.
While the campaign is on the shorter side, it’s well-paced and packed with epic set pieces, intense combat sequences, and a solid conclusion to the series’ storyline. The multiplayer may not be as active as it once was, but the campaign alone is well worth the experience.
If you want a beautiful, action-packed, and open-ended FPS that truly lets you play your way, Crysis 3 Remastered delivers on all fronts.
Rating: 9/10 – A visually stunning and action-packed finale to the Crysis trilogy.

I still enjoy this old game. Played it years ago found 1 2 3 on sale in the Steam Store. 20ish bucks still fun.
Wish they would make a Crysis 4 if the developers ever get back together. Id buy it. Oh well only a wish.

Picked this up on sale at 55% off. The main positives in this game are the graphics, which look amazing and the controls, which feel responsive and smooth on controller.
But I haven't enjoyed my 4 hours with it and will drop the game.
Some issues I have:
- The enemy AI is awful. If one spots you the whole base is aware instantly and you're dog piled.
- Enemies have super human vision and will spot you from miles away if a tiny bit of your body breaks cover. They are also the best aims on the planet, even better than the enemies in Stalker 2. Also they can see through tall grass.
- If they do spot you then forget the cloak, an EMP grenade will be incoming which has such a wide radius it's hard to run from.
- Gunplay feels lackluster and unsatisfying
- Every level plays out the same way: use the cloak, sneak to the next bit of cover and then wait to regain cloak energy, repeat. Get to objective. It's incredibly boring and slow.
Not for me. You may find a way of playing that gets the best out of the game. I didn't have the patience to work it out.

✅ Incredible graphics with modern enhancements
✅ Fast-paced, tactical Nanosuit gameplay
✅ Predator Bow adds satisfying stealth mechanics
✅ Semi-open world levels with multiple combat approaches
✅ Better optimization than previous remasters
❌ AI can be inconsistent at times
❌ Multiplayer removed (only single-player available)
Crysis 3 Remastered is the best version of an already excellent game. The mix of stealth, action, and gorgeous environments makes it one of the most unique FPS experiences out there. While the AI has its flaws and the campaign is short, the jaw-dropping graphics and satisfying combat make it a must-play for fans of sci-fi shooters.
🔥 Final Score: 9.5/10 – "A Visually Stunning & Action-Packed Sci-Fi FPS" 🔥

It's one of the best shooter games. This installment is more fun than all the previous ones, improving on the strengths of Crysis and Crysis 2. The ending makes me think there could still be a sequel, even though it's already a good conclusion.
I highly recommend it! But I also suggest playing Crysis 1, Warhead, and Crysis 2 first to fully immerse yourself in the story of this installment.

Crysis 3 Remastered brings back the high-tech carnage of Prophet’s mission in an updated package, showcasing enhanced visuals, improved performance, and refined gameplay.
Originally released in 2013, Crysis 3 was already a technical marvel, and this remastered edition polishes the experience for modern hardware while retaining the thrilling blend of stealth, action, and tactical combat that made the series so popular.
One of the biggest draws of Crysis 3 Remastered is its visual overhaul.
The game now features ray-traced reflections, improved lighting, higher-resolution textures, and better environmental details.
The dense jungle-infested ruins of New York City look even more breathtaking, with lush vegetation, dynamic weather effects, and highly detailed character models.
Performance-wise, the game is much better optimized than its original release, running smoothly on modern PCs and current-gen consoles.
The notorious “Can it run Crysis?” meme may not apply as harshly anymore, but the game still demands a powerful rig to fully enjoy the ultra settings!
Console players will appreciate the higher frame rates and crisper visuals compared to the original.
Crysis 3 retains the core mechanics that made the franchise unique.
The Nanosuit is the star of the show, allowing players to seamlessly switch between stealth and brute force.
Cloaking to silently eliminate enemies or activating armor mode to become a walking tank never gets old.
The addition of the Predator Bow remains a highlight, providing silent but deadly takedown options and a variety of specialized arrows.
The level design strikes a balance between the open-ended approach of Crysis 1 and the more linear structure of Crysis 2.
Players can approach encounters in multiple ways, making each battle feel dynamic.
However, the campaign is relatively short, clocking in at around 6-8 hours, which may disappoint those looking for a longer experience.
The narrative follows Prophet’s journey to stop the alien Ceph and the corrupt CELL corporation.
While it delivers some engaging moments, the story doesn’t break new ground.
Prophet’s existential struggle with his humanity adds depth, but the supporting cast feels somewhat underdeveloped...
Despite this, the sci-fi themes and cinematic presentation keep the story engaging enough to push forward.
Crysis 3 Remastered successfully revives one of the most visually stunning shooters of its time, making it more accessible to modern audiences while maintaining the core gameplay that fans enjoyed.
The improved graphics and performance breathe new life into the experience, even if the campaign is on the shorter side.
If you’re a fan of tactical FPS action, futuristic weaponry, and stunning visuals, Crysis 3 Remastered is worth playing.
Pros:
Stunning remastered visuals with ray tracing.
Improved performance and optimization.
Engaging mix of stealth and action gameplay.
Predator Bow remains a satisfying weapon!
Cons:
Short campaign.
Story and characters could be stronger...

Certainly the best game in the series from a gameplay perspective. The game has a good combination of linear sections and large open arenas. The game isn't as open as Crysis 1, but the combat arenas are certainly larger than the second game and provide a lot of flexibility. The gameplay itself is great, both enemy factions are fun to fight and the larger open levels filled with Ceph towards the end of the game are some of the best arenas. Don't pay too much attention to the story. Just enjoy the game and the sandbox it offers and it should be fun. Of note, this game has some of the most annoying achievements to get and is certainly a longer grind than the other games in the series. Have fun maxing out those suit upgrades. Get it if you want a fun sci-fi shooter.

One of the best crysis parts along with the first one. Much better than the second one. I liked the story very much. I do not like shooters now in 2025 but it is fine, it was not too bad. The story is great
