The multiplayer is dead and I can only recommend this if you have friends to play with, otherwise, pick it up in the GOTY edition for the base game when it is on sale for pennies on the dollar.

I recommend this at the same time as I don't recommend this DLC.
If you weren't stupid like me who bought the GOTY edition don't buy these multiplayer DLCS unless you have friends to play this with. The multiplayer is dead, and the active lobbies practically never use these map DLCS.
Conclusion: Wait for a sell when grabbing these if you wanna 1v1 your friends with these maps.

If you are a Tomb Raider fan and want to have the full collection of this game then buy it only on sale and buy the GOTY edition.

The add-on adds a couple of maps for multiplayer play. The maps themselves are quite complex, but that's what makes the game special in terms of their variety.

Tomb Raider: 1939 Multiplayer Map Pack: I got this DLC in the Tomb Raider pack the game and all the DLC's. I don't play online PVP so I can't say if it's good or bad. I hear the multiplayer is dead in the water anyway. All Review's for Tomb Raider multiplayer DLC's are going to be the same.

I love this map set! They are both highly detailed and fairly realistic. There are so may places to explore and to find items. The Jungle is a huge map that has lots of fog so it can be hard to see some enemies, but you can hide up in trees and you can attack enemies from up high without them even knowing. The Dog Fight map, while smaller, still is a great map and is great for sneak attacks if you are up high and they are down low and is a great "Close-Quarter" attack type map. I highly reccomend this map-set!

The original games used to be really amazing.
Some would even say that they were classics.
And I do agree with that sentiment, they are.
But then this game came and it's astounding.
These developers managed to really revive it.
The gameplay is amazing and so is the story.
Everything looks nice: It's a beautiful game.
And I really have to give it a positive review.
I honestly do recommend the GOTY edition.
Although most of those DLC's are garbage.
This one gives additional multiplayer stuff.
If you like the multiplayer, you should buy.

Buying a map for such a hefty price is a strange move. However do not worry, the multiplayer is dead, thus making the DLC almost obsolete. However you CAN get it in the GOTY edition of the game, if you wish to do so.
