Just a beautiful skin. Sweet and useless. Doesn't affect stats, but in a third-person game, it's a nice eye-catcher. The choice of skins diversifies the game well. You can get it at a discount.

The original games used to be really amazing. Some would even say that they were classics. And I do agree with that sentiment, they are. But then this game came and it's astounding. These developers managed to really revive it. The gameplay is amazing and so is the story. Everything looks nice: It's a beautiful game. And I really have to give it a positive review. I honestly do recommend the GOTY edition. Although most of those DLC's are garbage. This one is the prime example of worthless. It's just a player skin, that's it. Nothing else. Modders do these awesome things for free. It's a waste of money, just a cash grab stuff. You won't get additional playtime from this.

The Tomb Raider: Aviatrix Skin is a stylish addition, but it doesn’t offer anything beyond a fresh look for Lara. If you’re keen on having her rock a cool jacket, consider grabbing it in a budget bundle or the GOTY edition. Just remember, this skin doesn’t deteriorate as you move through the game, unlike Lara’s default outfit.

Given some of the cold locations in this game I'm sure Lara would appreciated a jacket however given this is just a game it is purely a pointless visual change. Also this outfit does not get damaged as the game progresses in the way the default outfit does.

Got this from buying the GOTY. There's actually really no point in buying the Lara skins but to change her outfit. Doesn't add some health or whatever. But it looks good, so...

It should be included with the game. When Lara gets dirty during the history if you’re wearing another skin instead the standard, you won’t be able to see it.

I wanted Lara Croft in a cool jacket. I got Lara Croft in a cool jacket. It's exactly what it seems to be, and while the outfit remains undamaged throughout the story mode, I didn't notice this as an issue because all dirt, grime, blood and injuries sustained over the story are in effect anyways. Not the best investment in the world, obviously, but a neat little cosmetic something that's pretty well done.

However, it does not reflect the injuries Lara receives (unlike her default skin) so it is very immersion breaking.
