Technically, this is P2W. However, considering it is for campaign, helps towards achievements, takes care of an annoying and boring upgrade, and can be had for pennies in the bundle = recommended.

This DLC unlocks an ability prior to meeting it's requirements, thus making the game slightly easier. To get the best value for your money, i suggest you buy the Tomb Raider GOTY Edition.

The add-on adds a skill to the game that allows you to climb mountains faster. Considering the fact that we get the ice axe towards the end of the game, I think that the skill is useless. Nevertheless, as a collection with a season pass game the addition is decent.

This makes the replay-ability of the game goo, it just speeds up the movement, yes you can get the skill in game after a while but for repeat plays it cuts some time which is nice.

Well shit, I just wasted money. Wish I checked the other reviews on this. As everyone else says, this is a cheat and it does NOT add the skill. Do not buy this.

The original games used to be really amazing. Some would even say that they were classics. And I do agree with that sentiment, they are. But then this game came and it's astounding. These developers managed to really revive it. The gameplay is amazing and so is the story. Everything looks nice: It's a beautiful game. And I really have to give it a positive review. I honestly do recommend the GOTY edition. Although most of those DLC's are garbage. This DLC for example is just paid cheating. You can literally buy cheats for this game. These upgrades should've been included. Selling them like this is simply disgusting. That's a huge negative review from me.

This ability is unlockable in the own game for free with skill points. Buying it only makes it automatically unlocked as soon as you start a new game. It is basically a paid cheat.
