Game is very simple and cozy. Not a lot of depth in the gameplay (either in cooking or combat), incredibly grindy and not that interesting storywise but if you're just looking for a game to chill to this'll do you just fine.

There's a lot of potential here if the game had better tutorials, higher drop rates, and made upgrades more rewarding. It doesn't help that you have to do all the prepping dishes on your own. As it stands I had to return this even though I a) got it on sale, and b) really wanted to like it.

I wish there was a middle option to leave for a review bc that's what I would give this one. For the price of this game, it is not worth it. Its fine? But there is so little to it that I get bored of it so quickly. It feels like a mobile game honestly. It doesnt feel like there is any progression, and these characters that look SO cool and lovely feel like place holders. You don't get to know them at all, cant do anything for their birthdays, and the only interaction you get from anyone is from side quests that unlocks recipes. There is no challenge on the town side and the only goal you have for the game is to like... grind(its not even a grind, its very easy to get the things you need) for the materials to allow you to upgrade basically just storage space.
The art and world is VERY cute and lovely, and if you really want something mindless to do then you'll probably like it, but if you're into cozy games for the progression side of it, you won't really find it with this one. Combat is fine, and it feels like you can do some creative things with all the combinations it gives you but even the basic stuff works so it feels pointless to even do that. I'd give it a try if you're interested in it, but once you've gotten like an hour of playtime in, you'll know the game at that point. At the very least, catch it on a sale.

Fun dungeon crawler/restaurant management game with beautiful art. I played with the 75% damage setting and it was the perfect challenge level for me. It was satisfying to work on my build and to unlock all recipes.
Not sure if I will finish the main storyline because the end got too grindy for me.

I have been having good time playing Cuisineer.
Sometimes a customer walks a back and forward when finding a seat but it fixes itself so far.
The progress of expanding the restaurant is really well done and the achievement hunting is also fun.

I love XSEED and Marvelous like Runefactory 3 & 4 were so fun ive been playing their games ever since so this one seemed hopeful.. and while it is cute, I cant recommend it because of the actual game play. Its really repetitive, but also somehow slow? The kitchen experience is not necessarily hectic or exciting (like overcooked! or diner dash or any other cooking/dining sim games), and the dungeons are so repetitive it gets boring after awhile. The enemies are cute but you meet what feels like a majority of them in like the first few levels of the first zone...Same thing with ingredients- most are unlocked within the first zone. Any 'collect-a-thon' aspect is already over before the game even starts it feels like... IDK i am just left wanting alot more. Cute game, got boring fast 5/10

I was drawn in by the nice art style and pretty impressive combat design in the dungeons. However, actually running the restaurant is extremely dull. A lot of time is spent waiting for new customers to show up or them to order. They even collect their own food, so you just queue up whatever they order (through a context menu so you don't even have to remember) and wait until they're ready to pay. I got no sense of what new mechanics I might look forward to or how to better prepare my restaurant. One day was marked as "Chicken" day, but I could not actually tell if customers were ordering chicken more often.

The restaurant management and dungeon crawling loop is pretty engaging and I really like the overall cute art style.
Strong points:
- cute art style
- pretty good dungeon run/restaurant management loop
- good amount of cosmetics/restaurant decor to unlock
Only thing I find annoying is the inventory/bag size, as you are constantly full of items even before finishing half of a dungeon (even with maxed out backpack, would definitely welcome more upgrades to the backpack)

I cannot believe this game isn't more popular. The combat is fluid. The CC mechanics are fresh and interesting.
People that enjoy Rune Factory or Atelier games will find this fun.
