TL;DR: If you're a massive Touhou fan and it's on a deep discount, I would probably recommend this. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't, as in most respects, it's a very average GZDoom mod, and you can get much better Doom/GZDoom content for free.
Graphics -
IMO, the game's strongest point; the sprites and textures are all very nice, obviously a lot of time and effort has been placed there.
The way that they're used is often very messy though; as you can sometimes see in the official screenshots and trailer, wall textures will slide up when doors are opened, textures will be cut off partway through where they should be, (this looks especially bad on the bookcase textures; please spare a thought for the many poor books tragically cut in half by overly hasty texture alignment), walls will have one texture on one side and another on the other side, some textures are just blatantly mismatched... Basically, everything wrong that you'd maybe expect from a beginner Doom map, but not so much from a commercial product. It's not enough to ruin the experience though. What does that the most is:
Level Design and Encounter Design -
Welcome back to the 90's. Maps are incredibly short, highly linear, and often quite flat.
The first couple maps are actually by far the most impressive that I played, and even those had encounter design that was basically: "here are some enemies, uhhhh, whatever ig". Most of the combat can be cheesed by using the fact that enemies can't open most doors or navigate the level easily (Doom enemy AI generally requires some amount of level design to help the enemies out a bit).
The breaking point for me was the incredibly long lift fight, because fighting more of the same basic enemies in small numbers for ages in a small and very plain arena is not fun.
I only fought 2 bosses, both of which had essentially one extremely simple attack pattern each. The second boss could be cheesed because her projectiles seem to be limited to a certain amount, and since she also fires them after being hit, doing enough damage quickly enough essentially stunlocks her by making all her projectiles erase themselves... The game has a lot of jank.
I know for a fact that this isn't an engine limitation, it's just poorly implemented scripting, and not taking the time and effort to make impressive bosses (that actually work properly) in a Touhou fangame is uhhh, definitely one of the choices of all time.
Weapons -
The weapon balance feels completely off, like, the Cirno doll have terrible DPS and only give you 50 ammo, but the quad shotgun has amazing DPS and functionally unlimited ammo, but is in a lower weapon slot because... Idk. The time stop watch is cool, but you only get one use until you find another, and I didn't find most situations threatening enough to use it, so it went mostly unused. The bouncing knives are awesome, until they start glitching out and flickering between walls and getting stuck and making horrible noises, which is all the time. However, some points must be restored for having a quad shotgun in the first place.
Conclusion -
I do think it's worth checking out if none of the things I've listed above sound like deal breakers, or you just really badly want a Touhou FPS running on GZDoom. I had some fun with it until I stopped having fun, and the concept and artwork are very cute. I just can't understand why it was released in this state, as it clearly needed a lot more playtesting and bugfixing, and more cooking time put into level and boss design.
Also Cirno is the strongest, why is her weapon so bad T_T

Really good shooter that mixes Touhou and doom together, it's tough though as you can't take much hit but I noob like me was able to beat it.
