Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & review here: https://youtu.be/akYWqwDdyi8 Well, I have to admit that I am not happy with what was done in Steam Early Access in this case. It seems the developer took Steam Early Access to mean that it was Meta Quest Port time versus adding new content to the game. I do have to give credit to the devs though, they did a small update for the final release (the first one since 2023). I think the update added a cat hunt mini-game and some tweaks to the gameplay. The story mode still only has the prologue and the first chapter. If you look at the UI of story mode "saga mode" then you'll see two empty spots where Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 should be. Promises made, promises not kept. The sad part is that I think story mode, while not great, gave the game some personality. The other mode is the tower defense mode. If you're a PCVR veteran, then you've probably played a dozen of these. This version of the archery TD game is simply a competent arcade version with low production values. It's got those Synty- looking Humble Bundle 3D low polygon type generic assets. Although, I have to admit, the environments / maps of the different parts of this game do actually look good. So the devs did a nice job of putting them together. At the end of the day though, the quality and quantity of the content, do not match the retail price. This should be at most, a $9.99 USD game. Why would you play this when games like Elven Assassin or QuiVR did it better back in 2016/2017 PCVR? Sometimes I feel like Steam VR is going backwards in quality and I'm an old man yelling at the sky with these subpar Steam VR releases out of Early Access. [b]Rate 5.5/10.
