Lost Alone Ep.2 - Paparino Reviews

Okay so I just reviewed the first game... started the first one on stream last night... and beat it and the second chapter on stream tonight. This one is a little different from the first episode... as in you actually have to try and avoid "The Butcher"... which isn't too hard if you use energy drinks... and you're mind as to the fact that he's rather "large". There were some good jump scares in this one as well (just like the first game)... but... but... there was one major issue with this game that sticks out a little more than in the first game. Regarding copyright issues from the first game... this one just basically said "piss on" copyright law... and instead of just using images for the background and posters in the game... Alberto IS LITERALLY JASON VOORHEES from Friday the 13th Chapter 2. Dude... are you serious right now?? Your games aren't bad... but you're really walking a fine line doing stuff like this. I'm going to be streaming Episode Three tomorrow night... and my chat has already kind of made a game out of how many "copywritten" things we can find in the game while I play. So sad that such a decent series... might catch all kinds of unnecessary hell because you couldn't be bothered to pay tribute to these things with quirky little things made yourself that "reminded" players of the things... and not the actual things themselves.

Fantastic series of games! I really enjoyed these! I'm not normally one for puzzles games, but this one was great! Had real fun streaming it & my chat loved it! Great little story, very creepy spooky atmosphere, some real good jump scares! Definitely worth the purchase! I'm looking forward to their future releases!

Solid sequel, though a bit shorter than the first. Just the right amount of jumpscares and spooky ambience for an indie horror game, without being too cheesy. The puzzles I think are easier this time around but still fun to play with interesting mechanics and a run-and-hide segment where you're being stalked. All in all, definitely worth the price for all horror fans.

I was hopeful that this game would be great but sometimes it's good to pay attention to the reviews.. 1st Episode went great for me.. The 2nd? ruined my stream as a result of continuously locking after being attacked one time by the butcher, upon return the game locks and you can't do anything..Devs...Find a patch or fix the issue and i may reconsider playing as it's already left a bad taste after losing 2 days of streaming content

Great sequel that ties into the first episode nicely. Similar feel but plenty more jumpscares to startle the hell out of you. Looking forward to trying episode 3 next!

Was a brilliant game with amazing jump scares and many hard problem solving puzzles that kept you occupied throughout the game as well as the butcher man who was chasing you. how ever i liked that not all the problems were extremely hard and you had some that were pretty easy. was an amazing game and liked the way that the story line followed on from the first. i would 100% play this game again in the near future. i would also recommend this game to those looking for a horror that has a great heartfelt story with many puzzles. what a brilliant game to play.

absolutely lame, awful, and annoying , tbh. I liked the first one where it was more psychological and you didn't have a lame butcher giant demon thing chasing you in the hallway. I asked for a refund on this one. I hope 3 is better.

This is the second game in the Lost Alone series. I have played all of them and I can tell you that they definitely get better as the series goes along. This is an indie horror game through and through. You should expect random loud jumpscares at times that they don't necessarily seem relevant and puzzles that may not always make complete sense but the game itself seems to work. For 6$ it's hard to give the game a tough review. It definitely has bugs. I crashed to my desktop at one point during my playthrough and would have lost everything had I not been at the half way point already. I think it's a huge misstep to not allow saving for the player in case of issues like that. If I had been before the half way point I would have had to start the whole thing over again. The game lasts for a little over 2 hours or so if you're exploring everything and making sure that you don't leave items in cabinets or lost. It is fun to get 100% completion as far as all of the extra items go. The story itself is translated from Italian so expect some dialogue oddities in text and translation to English but you'll still be able to figure out the story and what's going on with no problem. It's not THAT bad. Overall if we are looking only at the indie horror genre, this game is definitely not bad. Outside of that though it would be a little tough to recommend only because you're not going to play it more than once but I had a good time with it. If you're specifically looking for a horror game to occupy some time or something spooky to play this Halloween season you could absolutely do worse than this. This was really fun, not a huge house, simple puzzles, some jump scares, an interesting story - and that idiot butcher who chases you around. Very good effort. i always enjoy this guys games!! Molto bene cugino!!

Absolute gem of a game! I recommend getting all 3 episodes for the full story experience. You play as a man named George Sr. who is the father of the George in episode 1. You get to see the origins of George Jr's trauma in this narrative. This is an excellent narrative about domestic violence, mental illness, child abuse. This story builds upon the story given in episode 1. I would highly recommend you play them in order. The story is NOT for the faint hearted. There are a LOT of puzzles in this game. If you enjoy a walking simulator game with heavy puzzles and very story driven narrative, you will enjoy this title.
