When it comes to the gameplay, I will say it's a fun little distraction of an action game. The combat was fairly fun and solid, the stage design was all unique and new (Neptunia is known for reusing stages) and I enjoyed it.
However, if you play Neptune for the laughs, you're going to be disappointed, as the story is a complete snooze fest that doesn't do a good job at a crossover. And oh yeah, fan service, there isn't much.
Wait for a sale to pick this one up.
