Having fun so far. Old school point and click adventure game. Well written with funny characters.

Fun point and click game! Very Lucas arts inspired, but the solutions are little bit easier on Nelson and the Magic Cauldron (which is good for me cause i always got stuck on lucas arts games, lol). Cute drawing & charming voice acting, some funny jokes tucked in there. Nice indie title if you like monkey island style games.

Getting some serious monkey island vibes playing this game :) The art is nice and I appreciate the sense of humor. VO is a bit cheesy, but fits well. Get it if you enjoy classic P&C adventure games.

I liked this game, but it ended a bit abruptly. Buy on sale.

Nice indie game, I haven't played point and click in a long time and it reminded me a bit of the monkey island series.

Interesting little game, reminds me of Deponia a little. Not bad for a indie game

Fun little point & click adventure. Really not bad for an one person indie developer!

Solid, straightforward, but short point-and-click adventure. As I understand, this game is the sequel to “Nelson and the Magic Cauldron” (without The Journey) which I unfortunately skipped, so the beginning was a bit confusing and some story parts flew over my head. Playing in order seems necessary, as there is little to no recap given here. The ‘puzzles’ aren’t exactly complex, so if you’re looking for a challenge, this might not be the adventure for you. This one’s more to unwind, with pretty clear solutions and little frustration. There is one odd (and unintentional -I would assume-) misdirection right at the start of the game though (minor spoiler):
In the first scene, a character tells you that a recipe / list of ingredients is found in the castle. There is no list - whatsoever. By the time you can enter the castle, you will probably have most of the ingredients already. Once you've found every ingredient (it’s a little unclear), speak to the first character again to resume the game.
You can fast-click through conversations (which is always a lifesaver when you have looping dialogue) and fast-travel via the map. I would have wished for the possibility to also just walk faster, but there is no option to do so, as far as I know. The voice acting is amateurish, but doesn’t distract too much imo ( I played in German, so I can’t judge the English version). One big flaw for me is the font choice however. It’s frankly just really bad. It was annoying to read and I can’t imagine how bad it would be for people who are visually impaired in any way. The humor didn’t hit for me either, it’s a bit juvenile. If you watch the trailer, you can pretty much guess the tone of the game, so you’ll see if it’s your cup of tea. You can also see the art style. And since art is subjective, I won’t comment too much on this. You can easily find the interactive objects and I thought the switch-up in the final chapter was pretty neat. tl;dr overall the game is fine. It was made by a single developer with little budget (kickstarted), which is quite a feat. So manage your expectations accordingly. (:

Woah, that was a really bad experience. Lazy writing, wrong geometry, super easy puzzles, senseless story, mediocre jokes, short, English localization is even worse than the German speakers. You should not buy this game, under no circumstances.
