This game sits somewhere between your traditional boomer shooter and something more like Selaco, once again pushing GZDoom to its limits with absolutely massive levels and some components that require not just kills but speed. Levels are sometimes almost as vertical as they are horizontal, movement is crucial, and learning how to slide and dash around these massive spaces is crucial for things like saving on ammo.
Sure, you can craft this ammo from the ether, but only if you've found enough of those little ether canisters around. Or perhaps you'd prefer to craft health or armor instead. Either way, you're given resources and constraints on how much of them are available, and left to your own devices to figure out how to operate within those levels.
