Really enjoyed this game. Psychedelic horror at its finest. Great story with amazing visual and audio elements. Took me one hour longer than estimated, due to countless deaths (lol).

Game bugged out and was unplayable at the checkpoint towards the end of chapter 3, which forced me to restart the chapter. I had no intention of sitting through 30 mins - 1 hour of the walking sim I had just completed so I uninstalled.
Do not recommend due to game breaking bugs.

The story jumped right into the crazy. This is... good? I wasn't bored, but I also had no time to actually meet the characters and develop any connections. Instead, we've got some people that look to me like stereotypes and idiots so when things start to sideways, I don't care. Why does my character care? Dunno.... She's traumatized going in and somehow, despite the added trauma that happens within the first 10 minutes she.... develops a hero complex and puts her life on the line to save everyone??? makes no sense.
Combat is wonky, controls feel sluggish.
Enemies are silly. Just possessed cultists. Beyond that, there are interesting monsters, kinda, but they are introduced through lore drops before you ever see them. This is horror and the staple of horror is not knowing. Why am I getting a bestiary on monsters before even seeing them? Plus, new chapter, new enemy. Old enemies? That was last chapter. So it becomes a cycle of Start chapter -> Read about monster -> Fight monster -> Plot that you don't care about -> Repeat
The game is very meh and definitely not horror. Could have been, but ain't.

This game has a number of strengths, even if none of them are groundbreaking. The story is one of its more compelling elements not especially original, but well-executed. It centers on a multi-generational cult that, in a mild twist has stumbled onto real occult powers. If you're into dark, supernatural narratives, it's an engaging ride.
The environments are another highlight. You’ll explore a variety of decayed, abandoned spaces ruins that feel touched by both time and dark rituals. These areas are visually interesting and enjoyable to explore, though by the later stages, the settings start to blur together a bit. Still, the level design is strong. While the game is fairly linear, it often creates the illusion of real exploration. You’re not just being funneled through corridors—you’re navigating spaces that feel lived-in and labyrinthine. It's even possible to get lost for a minute or two, which adds to the immersion rather than annoyance.
Exploration is, in fact, where the game really shines. There’s a satisfying rhythm to navigating obstacles and figuring out how to reach pickups you can see but not access directly. That small puzzle-box feeling of “how do I get over there?” makes traversal rewarding on its own.
Where the game stumbles is in its combat. It’s a basic melee brawler with light mechanics: dodge, attack, and manage a few special abilities to thin out tougher enemies. It works, technically, but never feels like a natural fit for the game’s exploration heavy, story-first design. I set the difficulty to the easiest setting and still died occasionally though thankfully, difficulty is adjustable on the fly. Unless you enjoy action-heavy games in the vein of God of War, you’ll probably want to do the same just to keep the pace smooth.
The second major weakness is the visuals, which are stuck squarely in the uncanny valley. Characters in particular suffer from stiff animations and odd facial textures, and even the environments sometimes feel off. The game can’t quite decide between realism and stylization, and ends up in a middle ground that’s more unsettling than artistic. That said, the effect fades after the first 15 minutes or so especially if you’re not overly sensitive to visual polish.

Ok, so, this game is pretty cool. Without spoiling too much the game takes a lot of elements from spirituality and hippie culture and twists them into a horror game that ends up being interesting enough to hold my attention for a few days of play. The game isn't super polished, as the combat system is pretty bare bones and the cutscenes can be pretty mediocre, but the story is what you should get the game for. All in all a pretty solid experience, defo would recommend.
